Supercars made from Scrap
Off-topic, but too good not to share. Incredible full-size works of art made by Polish artists from scrap car parts. Blowing my tiny mindholes. G

Amaro and Walden's Joyride
Amaro and Walden's Joyride from The Line on Vimeo.
This is so clever. I originally saw a very short gif on the Death Spray Blog, but didn't see a link to where it came from, then found it via Le Container.
Joyride was made by a London-based collective of artist, designers and animators called The Line.
It has a mature rating, so if you're mature, then watch it before you share it with anyone.

No rust.
Working blue flashing light (and classic ‘Ner-Ner’ siren that needs replacement switches)
Wacky Races- style, kitchen door port-hole in roof.

The Poll Tax riot re-enactor in your life.
A 17-year-old too young to join the force, but desperate for some pre-Constabulary role play training.
A cash-strapped rural community on the brink of social meltdown.
A would-be drug mule.
A leftfield motorcycle race organiser looking for props on the cheap.
Cop drama set designer with a tight budget.

Flying Cars II
Long-time supporter, Driver Chris, left a comment on the blog post below saying he'd done the whole flying car thing back in 2010. And he did. Here are his efforts. Click his name to check out his blog.
Flying Cars
Amazing concept /photoshop trickery by Sylvain Viau.
Citroen cars are famous for their very smooth handling and hydraulic suspension system. They are usually nicknamed 'flying carpet'.
This is my own flying carpet after little custom works, a Cx Gti Turbo produced in 1984 ! Much more comfortable like this ! Then I pushed the idea with other cars, and it's still working.
I'm ready to experiment this change on any car, provided I can drive it myself to my usual shooting place in Cherbourg. This is my only condition!

Cars and Women 2
Off-topic: Back in early January I posted some old photos of concept and supercars photographed with models. I love the style, the colours, the fashions, the outdated optimism of the cars, the whole unsophisticated sophistication of it all.
Anyway, Anders from the superb http://twwhlspls.com blog sent the one above - an NSU concept, the 1973 Trapeze, designed by the Bertone studio.
Then I found the one below. It's not quite right as it's contemporary, but still a nice image. And it's got a motorcycle in it.
Don't know the original photographer. Sorry.

Quartic
So I'm Goggle'ing, trying to find out if a rectangle with rounded off corners (like photos from the 1970s) have a specific geometric name? I thought Lozenge, but that sounds like something you suck. The only thing that can be ascertained with 100% certainty, is that the steering wheel of an Austin Allegro is Quartic shaped. BP

Cars and Women
Yes, sometimes (often), I'm that shallow.
If anyone knows where I can find more photos of women with 1970s supercars and concept cars, please let me know.
The photo below has quickly become one of my favourites of all time, though I don't know who took it for what purpose or even what the car is. Hopefully someone can fill me in.
Photos found at: Le Container, Twwhlspls, Dulicis Domus G
