Billy Childish on Radio 4
Very good interview with one of my favourite characters - artist, Headcoat, Buff Medway, Mighty Caesar, poet and all-round fantastic fella, Mr Billy Childish. Get yourself educated by listening again on the BBC iPlayer. GI

Mark's Triumph
I was checking out one of my favourite blogs, Poppawheelie, when I saw this photo. The inked-in arms and beard aren't that unusual in the world, but they are in the world of flat track. I knew I'd seen him before. We posted a photo Tim White took of Mark, because that's his name, on his Wood Yamaha 450.
Cool dude, great bikes, fast racer. G

Dang
Some impressive two-stroke finning.
A combination of soft but sturdy legs (topped off with a peak of pants), a CR125M crosser, and a man with a large drooping moustache was all too much for me on Gary's post last Tuesday about Washington vintage MX. Alarm bells started ringing and I had to investigate. After employing my best friend Google, I quickly came upon this site of Lovelies selling T shirts. BP

We've found a new god to worship 2
Sorry the old god is out (but existing goddess is still in). Because of a few things this fella has got going for him
1. Insane body language. Going fast turning RIGHT with panache. This is a TT at Ascot 1970. Photos taken from Poppa Wheelie, who says this is a Yamaha 360.
2. Great leathers and lid.
3. Race face set to stun.
4. Look closely, what a killer Clark Gable moustache.
Who is he? Anyone know? GI

Headcoat and Handlebar
Few things shout 'suave' and 'gentleman' as loudly as a freshly waxed handlebar moustache and a deerstalker headcoat. Forget all these scruffy beards, dirty jeans and tattoos and get some tweed in your life. GI
AMENDMENT: Just remembered I got the handlebar page from Satan's Crate. Credit where it's due

Getting the girl
From Rabers. Look at the shoulders on him! Nice BMX in the background for those of such a persuasion.

Live from the Timonium Cow Palace
Carpet shoe

Dress for the ride, not the crash

Oxford shirt, chinos, silk tie, tidy moustache. Sir, you are a gentleman and a example to us all.

High, wide and handsome

From ace shooter, Tim White
'Hosted by the Baltimore County Trail Riders Association (www.bctra.org), the Timonium indoor short track races are a must-do every December. With AMA sanction the group puts on 13 races in an evening on the cement floor of the Maryland State Fairground cow palace, with classes for everyone from kids on 50cc shafties to "adults" on 100cc thumpers and the crazed on 450cc MX bikes. Bring warm clothes, ear plugs, and maybe a respirator.'
