If you've been in Shoppers lately you've probably noticed that the fall Maybelline collection is out and is all kinds of purty! Being a blue eyeshadow whore, this is my particular fave from the collection, Eye Studio Quad in Sapphire Stylist.
You can see from the swatches that it has good pigmentation and the gold and silver have some nice shine!

If you've been admiring my swatches of the Essie Brand New Bag fall collection (you can find them here and here) you will love this exciting contest taking place on the Essie Canada Facebook page at Facebook.com/EssieCanada. My favourite part of the Mary Kay Redefining Elegance fall collection has to be the nail polishes. The colours are so rich and luxurious looking that it makes me feel classy just to wear them!

The only thing I don't love is the brush which has a very short handle, I'm used to the standard long ones and am finding the short one harder to control accurately - other than that, these polishes are love!

I promised you the other half of the Essie Brand New Bag collection and since I try not to lie to you here it is - I must admit, just looking at these pictures is putting me to sleep, they are way too subdued for me!

The Fall Essie collection is called Brand New Bag and are meant to be classic shades reinvented for modern times. I must admit, this collection is not my favourite - personally, I'm more about the colour - the brighter, the better - like the Essie Braziliant summer collection! But since I know some of you like things more subdued, this is for you - these three are the deeper colours from the collection, come back next week for the lighter tones.
Power Clutch - was described as a dark green, but I don't see that as all - call me colour blind but on both my nails and in the bottle it looks grey - with maybe just the slightest hint of green in certain lights!
