Louis Vuitton Takes You from The Yacht Club to The Boardroom and Back with This Resort Collection

We often think about purses and accessories when we hear the name Louis Vuitton but this Resort 2010 collection shows another side of the French label: flirty dresses, beautiful little jackets... very pretty and high fashion. There is not much color but the black and white make these pieces very classic and wearable outside the yacht club.

Karl Lagerfeld and Eres Bring You an Interactive Peep-show!

Karl Lagerfeld and the French swimwear company Eres have collaborated on a fun summer campaign: these Parisian pin-ups wear adorable Chanel dresses but as soon as you load the website: taa daaa, you've got your own private peep-show too! Your mouse helps you undress the models and reveal the usually fantastic Eres swimsuits. There is an obvious advantage here: you don't have to spend all your 20's like Lisamarie on a Friday night, so you can keep your money and buy those clothes instead .  My only regret? There should be more swimsuits to look at and there should be male models to undress! But I hope this concept takes off!

Estée Lauder will make you a Bronze Goddess this summer!

I'm a funny person to be talking about bronze anything I know!  But honestly, I put a skirt on for the first time this year and the whiteness of my legs is distressing, so I think this is the year to do a little bit of that bronzing!

Here's what they have cooking in the collection:

New, Limited Edition Bronze Goddess Liquid Eyeshadow - $20 - This lightweight, ultra-creamy liquid eyeshadow delivers maximum metallic impact to eyes in just one stroke. Available in Ultra Violet, Aqua Flash, Molton Bronze and Sand Shimmer, this luxurious eyeshadow instantly saturates lids with vivid colour and radiant luminosity that lasts up to 12 hours without fading or flaking.

New, Limited Edition Bronze Goddess Exotic Lipgloss  - $21 - acts as a vivid accent, artfully combining hot summer shades with perfect summer shine. Available in vivid Wild Orchid and Wild Coral, this luscious, high shine, sheer coverage gloss glides on lips smoothly, giving lips a sensual appearance, while the tack-free formula ensures that the gloss provides continuous hydration and feels comfortable throughout the day.

Complete this sultry summer look with perfectly polished, shiny tips using Estée Lauder’s Pure Color Nail Lacquer - $25 - in New, Limited Edition exotic shades of Ultra Violet and Wild Orchid.

For a finishing touch of shimmering sun-kissed colour, try this summer’s New, Limited Edition Bronze Goddess Exotic Bronzing Blush - $45 - This luxuriously silky, all-over bronzing powder features a shimmering untamed, wildlife-inspired tablet design that offers two shades - a perfect bronzing shade and a blushing coral shade - for perfect sun-kissed, naturally bronzed skin. Perfect for virtually any skin tone, this beautifully exotic blush delivers a luminous, streak-free application that can be worn alone or over bronzer and is packaged in Estée Lauder’s Bronze Goddess “sunburst” compact.

For a naturally radiant and glowing, sun-kissed complexion, apply the New, Limited Edition Bronze Goddess Bronzing Gel for face - $34.50 - This luxurious, lightweight formula glides on evenly with ease, imparting a natural dewy finish that enhances skin’s appearance with a warm golden radiance and reflective sheen that stays true and won’t streak. Packaged in a convenient tube featuring the Bronze Goddess “sunburst” logo, this exceptional bronzing gel can be applied to face for instantly and beautifully radiant skin. Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested and non-acnegenic, this unique gel is perfect for all skin tones, feels silky smooth on the skin and provides all day moisturization.

In addition to these exciting new products, returning favorites to the summer 2010 Bronze Goddess Collection include the Bronze Goddess Soft Matte Bronzer - $40, Bronze Goddess Soft Shimmer Bronzer - $40, Bronze Goddess Soft Duo Bronzer - $40 - and Bronze Goddess Luminous Liquid Bronzer - $34.50. Each one of these exceptional bronzing products delivers divinely beautiful, natural looking, sun-kissed skin, making it easy to choose the product that is right for you.

Chanel 2010 Spring Summer Haute-Couture Make-Up

Christelle has shown you the beautiful clothes from the Chanel 2010 Spring Summer Haute-Couture Show and now here's the scoop on the makeup.  Peter Philips did another beautiful job with three key phrases from Karl for inspiration:  neon baroque, chemical pastels and liquid silver.  I have no idea what that's supposed to mean either.  For the haute couture collection, Peter wanted the makeup to be classical so the attention would be focused on the clothes.  He looked for shades which would best fit the water-colour and acid-like tones of the fabric and decided to place the focus on the lips.
For the lips, Peter used a new shade of Rouge Allure from the Summer 2010 Collection - Génial - which is a coral-orange shade.  The lips were outlined with Le Crayon à Lèvres in Pink Sugar.

For the eyes he applied the new Ombres Contraste Duo - Gris-Subtil on the eyelids, composed of two shades of grey, one of which silver sparkle’s reflected the light.  At the roots of the eyelashes a thin stroke of Crayon Khôl - Graphite. On the eyelashes, a touch of Mascara Inimitable – Black.

On the face he used Pro Lumière which he always uses at the shows as it gives a natural satin-like makeup effect while respecting the models natural skin tone.

For the cheeks he used a light touch of Les Tissages de Chanel - Tweed Corail which brought a delicate dash of colour to the cheekbones.

Finally, to create the mercury-like effect on the nails, Peter used Le Vernis in Silver launched a limited edition polish from Spring 2007.

Ooh la la! Hermès Gets Whimsical for Spring 2010

Hermès should be part of every woman's survival kit: amazing shoes, colorful scarves, pretty dresses, classic bags and even China! Sure, Hermès is not about avant-garde fashion, but it stands out for craftsmanship and timeless design. Their slogan in this spring campaign? "Hermès, life like a fairytale" and if you can afford any of these pieces, life would certainly be like a fairytale!

Mango Spring/Summer 2010: Scarlett is Deliciously Pretty

Scarlett Johansson is fronting the new Spring/Summer 2010 Mango campaign -yet again-. While the pictures are beautiful and Scarlet is looking as spectacular as ever, the mood for this photo shoot is more reminiscent of a fall campaign than a Spring photo spread, with dimmed lighting and dark velvet furnishings.

BCBG by Max Azria: Summer 2010 Will Be Bright and Sexy!

When I first saw this spring/summer 2010 campaign from BCBG by Max Azria, I gasped. Look at these beauties! I'm not talking about the models. Look at these fantastic shoes, they are seriously, no wait, seriously sexy! The rest of this collection is a mix of bright colors and floral patterns with geometrical, asymmetrical hemlines.
