Vampire or Trollop, you decide! Lash Royalty Contest!

What do JWOWW and Sammi of Jersey Shore fame have in common with the cast of Twilight?  Other then sucking the blood of their unsuspecting victims, is an appreciation for a good pair of faux eyelashes!  The Jersey girls picked theirs up at a recent MTV event and the Twilight crew were fitted with theirs for the Twilight Eclipse premiere a couple of weeks ago.  So whether you are a vampire or a skank, Lash Royalty has the lashes for you!  Hmmm, that didn't come out quite right did it?  Anyhoo, if you want to look flirty or sultry without the scary cheap spider look that you get from some lashes you will want to give Lash Royalty lashes a try.  You can either buy them here or better yet, why don't you win yourself a pair! Six lucky readers will win a pair of Lash Royalty lashes!

Worth winning?  You betcha!  This contest is open to Canadian and United States residents. All you have to do is join Beauty Crazed as a follower if you aren't one already.  You can either do it through Google or through Networked Blogs on Facebook - you can find both signups on the right hand side of the Beauty Crazed site.  Once you belong to our crazy family just leave a reply to this post letting us know you want in and who you would be batting your lashes at.   If you give the contest link a tweet and/or post it on your blog, there's an extra entry in it for you!  Another extra entry can be had for adding Lash Royalty on Twitter - you can find them here and/or signing up for their e-mail list - here.  Including an e-mail address would be extra helpful and you can write it like this - info(at)beautycrazed(dot)ca - so the bots can't find you but we can.  If you prefer not to leave your info on a public post, please leave a post saying you want to enter and then e-mail us your info - info@beautycrazed.ca, please put "Lash Royalty Contest" in the subject line.  Winners to be decided by random drawing and you have until July 25th to enter.

Lash Royalty lashes will be coming down the Twilight Eclipse red carpet! Upcoming Contest!

Would false eyelashes have made Bella less moody or helped out her relationship with Edward?  We'll never know for sure but for the official Twilight Eclipse Red Carpet Premiere, you can expect to see Lash Royalty luxury eyelashes on some of your favourite Twilight stars!  After some begging, pleading and threats of blood sucking, Lash Royalty has agreed to pony up some of the same lashes they will be using at the premiere so keep an eye out for that contest coming soon!

Look like a vampire, even if sucking blood isn't your thing...

I knew someday my pale skin would be super fashionable!  The Canadian Press reports that thanks to Twilight the sale of bronzer is way down while vampire friendly cosmetics such as light foundation and pale powder are up!  MAC will be jumping on the bandwagon this spring with their Pale 'n Dandy collection as did Lise Watier who has released a porcelain foundation and illuminating powder.

Now trends are fun and everything but I have to say that lately I have seen more then a few girls wearing foundation that was waaaaay to light for them - it's just not flattering to look that sun deprived unless you have fangs. Remember the key to an attractive pale and ethereal look is to only go a shade or two lighter then your natural skin tone.

I knew there had to be a reason I'm always so cold and pale, I'm already undead!

If you buy this makeup, Robert Pattinson will come over to your house and do indecent things to you...sorry, that was my fantasy speaking again.

I know what y'all are thinking.... Lisamarie is just using this post as a lame excuse to slap a picture of Robert Pattinson on her computer so she can drool over it for the next 20 minutes while she composes this message.  I'll tell you what I have to say to that... Damn Straight!  I love this man - actually I'm not even sure if he's legal and dammit, I don't care!  I would let him suck my blood and that's quite a statement coming from me, I hate needles and anything needle related and I expect having your blood sucked by a vampire would be very similar to that experience - and yes, I understand he is not really a vampire, he just plays one, I'm not delusional you know!  And as hard as it might be to believe I do actually have something beauty related to say pertaining to my dreamboat, well relating to his new movie anyhow...

I was spending far too much of my time and money at Shopper's Drug Mart again when I spied something new:
A line of  Luna Twilight cosmetics  I must confess, I have never heard of this line before, but I betcha with the Twilight tie in that the teens (and cougars) will be eating this up.  The palettes were quite lovely and named after the ladies in the movie - Bella, Victoria, Alice and Rosalie.  Alice and Victoria are quite colourful and Bella (pictured left) and Rosalie are more neutral.  I liked them all but at $30 for a no-name brand, fairly small palette I haven't made a final decision yet.

Also interesting in this collection was a line of "Just Bitten" Staining balms in 4 colours, 2 of which are red as you can imagine. $19 and "Mortal Glow" blushing creme, which I just like for the name.  There are also a body and face glow (so you too can sparkle?) and some mascara, but nothing else really grabbed me.

If you have any teens or tweens (or dirty old ladies) on your Christmas shopping list, this might be just the ticket!  I also found this line on the Nordstrom site here if you want to have a look!  I'm off to have a cold shower!
