Princess Inspired Hairbows!!!

I've just posted 8 days straight of fun Princess inspired bows. (which, my sister in law informed me, was super tedious) But now, I can have them all compiled into one great reference page  for other bow like-minded people! So yay! One thing you might not have noticed during the last 8 days was that I posted the bows based on when their movie was released...beginning with Snow White and ending with Elsa! I love hairbows! I love the shabby chic look of them, so I generally use 3 elements, Ribbon, feathers and rhinestones. Sometimes chiffon flowers, birdcage veil, or other charms. Anyway, scroll through these in case there are some you don't recognize from last week's bow fiasco! :) Belle Tinkerbell Sleeping Beauty Ariel Cinderella Rapunzel Snow White Elsa Briar Rose Bow Alice in Wonderland Little Bo Peep Pigtail Bows! TinkerBell Princess Inspired Hairbow!

TinkerBell Princess Inspired Hairbow! I love Tinkerbell...you know, the real one. The sort of jealous, bratty one. Is that bad that I like her? I know they have tried to change her image...not thrilling. She thinks you're a big ugly girl!  Hahaha The perfect Shabby Chic bow needs 3 different elements. Ribbon, feathers, rhinestone. I get my satin ribbon from Papermart, they don't compensate me and I am  not an affiliate...but they have great priced high quality ribbon. You will need 36 inches of the following colors/sizes 1.5 inch Kiwi Green 1 inch white 7/8 inch Kiwi Green A marabou feather puff and a rhinestone button. You will also need scissors, lighter, hot glue/gun and thick thread. It's easy to make the bows...the full tutorial is here Then stack them in the desired order with a little hot glue in the center of each layer. Then wrap the entire stack tightly with thread and tie it off. Then hot glue the rhinestone button on the top center...

Snow White Inspired Princess Hairbow!

Snow White Inspired Princess Hairbow! I am doing Princess Inspired hairbows all week! They are so cute and don't scream, "I'm a Disney Princess!" So they are perfect for my inbetween daughter who just turned 12. She loves dressing up and we like to do it subtly as well.  Okay, this screams "I'm a Disney Princess" for sure!  But imagine the bow with a chambray top and leggings!  I love bows and love ribbon. I bought a bunch from Papermart ...they don't compensate me at all here... but I think they are the best quality for the price out there.  I buy in bulk...big time. A great bow needs 3 elements. I use ribbon, feathers, and rhinestone buttons. I used 1 yard of ribbon in the following colors/sizes: Yellow 1.5 inch Royal Blue 1 inch Red 7/8 inch  Then you magically turn your ribbon into bows! haha, here's the full tutorial for that here  Then stack them and hot glue them together. Before putting on the rhinestone, I ...
