In this
post I’m going to show you most of my
makeup related Christmas gifts, I received many because those who know me also
know what my passion is , and they know what to buy to make me happy! Let’s
start with an early Christmas gift , I got it in November , but I had to
mention it because it’s one of my favourite, it’s the Sugarpill sparkle baby
palette!
I love all
four eyeshadows in it, my favourite are Candy Crush and Frostine, but they are
all awesome, very pigmented, buttery, easy to apply and to blend , very
longlasting, unique shades , a must for shimmery lovers and for everyone who
loves pastel and girly colors with an unexpected twist! I’ve been using it
since I got it and I know it’s going to be one of my most used palette of the
year!
Another one
of my favourite brands all year round is The Body Shop, and I love it even more
at Christmas because they come out with their Christmas lines which I adore,
and this a well known fact among my family and friends! I received three body
butters, I use them a lot and they’re never enough, and they chose two of the
Christmas fragrances, Vanilla Bliss, a buttery and warm vanilla scent, and
Glazed Apple , which is the new one and it smells like granny smith apples!
Third one is the argan oil body butter, very nourishing and with a subtle and
nice smell; I’m happy I got the Vanilla Brulee hand cream, the body shop has
launched scented hand creams and I like them a lot, I love when my hands smell
good and sweet, and this fragrance is just what I was looking for! Any the body
shop cream I’ve tried is very rich and moisturizing, it will keep your hands
soft and smooth even when it’s very cold and your skin gets extremely dry.
Another
present I really loved was the Vanilla Brulee shimmer lotion, I usually stock
these lotions up around holidays so I got them for months after, I love the
shimmery glow they leave on my skin, even though glitters are so fine they get
stuck on clothes and they don’t easily go away, but I don’t mind, it’s a fair
price to pay to look like a fairy! Of course all body lotions are moisturizing,
they’re not greasy, they’re not sticky, they get absorbed fast and you can choose
from many delicious scents!
Last
Christmas special edition product I received is a Vanilla Brulee soap bar,
another staple of mine, I use soap bars when I shower and the body shop ones
are among my favourites because the scents variety and because they don’t dry
my skin, they’re not aggressive at all, they make a delicate creamy foam that
nourishes my skin leaving it soft and silky!
Another
brand I adore is Kiko, I think you all know that by now, and so does my family,
that’s why Santa put under my Christmas tree some of their products: I’m so
happy I got the Precious Touch shimmery oil! First of all I love the rounded
bottle, it looks so cute and I’m going to put it on my vanity because it adds a
festive touch, but apart from the packaging I love everything glittery and this
body oil has got a gorgeous silvery glow that has made me fall in love with it!
It’s really beautiful!
I’m curious
to try the new Universal fit hydrating foundation, I’m not a fan of Kiko
foundations to be honest, I tried a couple of them and they weren’t anything
special, but I’m willing to give this one a try and, if it’s not the best match
for my skin, I’ll use it to run errands and when I want a light , natural
coverage.
Another new
product I can’t wait to try is the natural concealer, the first Kiko concealer
I’ve ever received! I’ve just swatched it and the texture is creamy but not too
thick , it seems not to go into fine lines and to blend out really well, but
I’m going to test it for a month or so and then I’ll write a full review on it.
I received
the Naked 2 basics palette, I own the Naked basics and, surprisingly, it’s one
of the palettes I use the most: I’m not a neutral colors lovers and I don’t buy
many of those, so I bought the Naked basics thinking it could have been a gift
for someone but after trying it I kept it because I use eyeshadows as
transition colors, highlighters and to blend out vibrant shades, basically I
use it almost everyday! This one has got some gorgeous cold shades , perfect as
transition colors, I can’t wait to try! There aren’t many light shades , but at
first glance it seems I will use it as much as the first one!
I’ve also
got three nail polishes, my favourite is the sparkly pink, it’s gorgeous, but I
like them all! That’s it, I’m very happy with my gifts, don’t you think Santa
has been very generous with me this year? What did you get?!

Nel post di oggi vi mostrerò i regali di Natale relativi a
prodotti di trucco che ho ricevuto, vedrete che sono parecchi perché chi mi
conosce sa molto bene qual è la mia passione, e sa cosa scegliere per rendermi
felice!
Iniziamo subito con un regalo che ho ricevuto in anticipo, a
Novembre, ma che devo citare per forza perché è uno dei miei preferiti, e si
tratta della palette Sparkle baby di Sugarpill!
Mi piacciono tutti e quattro gli ombretti al suo interno, ho
una leggera preferenza per Candy Crush e Frostine, ma sono tutti bellissimi,
molto pigmentati, setosi, facili da applicare e da sfumare, dall’ottima durata,
sono colori unici, questa è, a mio parere, una palette che non può mancare
nella collezione di chi ama i colori dalla finitura scintillante, molto
femminili e con un tocco particolare che altri ombretti non hanno! La sto
usando spessissimo da quando è tra le mie mani, e sono sicura che sarà uno dei
prodotti che sfrutterò di più nel corso dell’anno!
Un’altra marca tra le mie preferite è senza dubbio il the
body shop, che uso tutto l’anno ma che, durante le feste natalizie lancia delle
edizioni limitate che adoro, e i miei cari lo sanno bene! Ho ricevuto tre burri
corpo, dei prodotti che non mancano mai nella mia routine di cura della pelle, due
sono parte delle edizioni limitate di Natale , Vanilla Bliss ha una fragranza
burrosa e calda di vaniglia , mentre mela candita profuma di mele granny smith!
Il terzo è un burro corpo all’olio di argan, molto nutriente e con un odore
estremamente delicato; sono felice di aver ricevuto la crema mani alla
vaniglia, il the body shop ha di recente messo in commercio delle creme mani in
diverse profumazioni che mi piacciono molto, amo il profumo che lasciano sulle
mani, e questa fragranza era proprio quella che volevo! Tutte le creme mani del
marchio che ho provato sono molto nutrienti e corpose, lasciano la pelle
morbida e vellutata anche quando fa molto freddo e la pelle tende a
screpolarsi!
Un altro regalo che mi ha fatto molto piacere ricevere è la
lozione corpo scintillante alla vanilla brulee, in genere faccio scorta di
questo tipo di fluidi corpo per poi usarli nel corso dell’anno, adoro i
riflessi scintillanti che regalano alla pelle e, anche se i glitter contenuti
all’interno sono talmente sottili che si infilano nelle fibre dei tessuti e non
vanno via facilmente, a me non importa, è il giusto prezzo da pagare per avere
la pelle luminosa e brillante come quella di una fata! Tutte le lozioni corpo
sono molto idratanti,non grasse, non appiccicose, si assorbono rapidamente e
potete scegliere tra tante invitanti profumazioni!
L’ultimo prodotto ad edizione limitata che ho ricevuto è una
saponetta alla Vanilla Brulee, un altro di quei prodotti che uso da anni,
infatti uso le saponette sotto la doccia, e amo molto quelle di the body shop
non solo perché si può scegliere fra tante interessanti profumazioni, ma anche
perché non mi seccano la pelle, non sono aggressive, fanno una schiuma leggera
e soffice e lasciano la pelle morbida e idratata!
Un’altra marca che adoro è la Kiko, e anche questo è
risaputo da voi e dai miei familiari ,ecco perché Babbo Natale mi ha fatto
trovare alcuni prodotti del marchio sotto l’albero di Natale: sono contenta di
provare l’olio corpo scintillante! Mi piace la bottiglia rotonda, la metterò
esposta sulla mia postazione trucco per un tocco festivo, ma a parte la
confezione io amo qualsiasi prodotto pieno di glitter, e quest’olio corpo
regala dei magnifici riflessi argentati che me ne hanno fatto innamorare, lo
trovo bellissimo!
Sono curiosa di provare il nuovo fondotinta Universal fit
hydrating foundation, anche se onestamente non sono una fan dei fondotinta
Kiko, ne ho provati un paio e non mi hanno entusiasmato, ma voglio dare a
questo una possibilità e, se proprio non dovesse fare al caso mio, lo userò
quando devo fare delle commissioni e voglio una copertura leggera.
Un altro nuovo prodotto che sono curiosa di testare è il
natural concealer, il primo correttore della Kiko che abbia mai ricevuto! L’ho
provato solo una volta e la consistenza mi è sembrata cremosa ma non pastosa,
mi è sembrato che non vada ad infilarsi nelle naturali pieghe della pelle e che
si sfumi con facilità, ma mi serve più tempo per testarlo, lo userò per circa
un mese e poi scriverò una recensione completa.
Ho ricevuto la palette Naked 2 basics, ho anche la prima e,
contro ogni previsione, è una delle palette che uso di più: non sono un’amante
dei colori neutri e ne compro di rado, infatti acquistai la Naked basics con
l’idea di regalarla, ma dopo averla provata decisi di tenerla perché uso gli
ombretti come colori di transizione, come illuminanti, per sfumare i contorni
delle tonalità accese, praticamente la uso tutti i giorni! Questa è composta da
bellissimi colori dal sottotono freddo, perfetti da usare come colori di
transizione, non vedo l’ora di provarli! Non ci sono molti colori chiari, ma la
prima impressione che ho avuto è che la userò tanto quanto la seconda!
Ho anche ricevuto tre smalti, quello che mi piace di più è
quello rosa glitterato, veramente stupendo, ma sono soddisfatta anche degli
altri due! È tutto per i miei regali di Natale, quest’anno Babbo Natale è stato
molto generoso, non siete d’accordo con me? E voi cosa avete ricevuto?!
