probably know by now how much I love full cover foundations, so you won’t be
surprised to know I bought the huda beauty faux filter foundation even though I
already have almost 30 foundations I still have to open…I know, I should be
ashamed of myself but the truth is I am not!
Let’s see
how it’s described: A full-coverage cream foundation that visibly conceals
blemishes and imperfections, for a filter-like finish.Packed with a high
percentage of ultra-refined pigments, the #FauxFilter Foundation visibly
smooths and evens skin texture, diminishing the appearance of blemishes, scars,

What I
like: I like the color range, it’s wide and there are different undertones
available so it’s not hard to find the perfect match. There are brands with a
wider range but this one is good in my opinion. It’s a full coverage
foundation, very pigmented and thick, a little bit goes a long way and it really
evens out your skin . I don’t have many blemishes or discolorations and I can
skip concealer when I wear this product. It’s not cakey, the overall result is
surprisingly natural. It doesn’t set into fine lines and it doesn’t emphasize
pores. I set it with powder because my skin is oily and I feel more comfortable
in doing that, but you might not need that if your skin is normal. It’s easy to
apply and to blend. It’s long lasting,
it doesn’t crease and it doesn’t fade away during the day. There are 5 ml more
than the standard.
What I
don’t like: you have to learn how to use it because, if you apply too much
product, it’s going to look cakey and it’s going to set into fine lines. I use
half the amount I usually apply and I get full coverage. It is expensive, there are cheaper
foundations that work quite as well, for example Revlon 24h stay all day just
to mention one. It’s better to apply a face primer underneath else it might set
into fine lines around eyes in the long run.
My verdict:
I like it and I might repurchase it because I like the coverage and the lasting
power, but I can’t deny there are other foundations just as good as this one.

Cosa mi piace: mi piace la gamma colori, è ampia e sono
disponibili diversi sottotoni, non sarà quindi difficile trovare la tonalità
giusta. Ci sono marche con una gamma colori ancora più ampia ma, secondo me,
questa è buona. È un fondotinta ad alta coprenza, pigmentato e denso, ne basta
una piccola quantità per uniformare la carnagione. Non ho molte imperfezioni o
discromie quindi, quando lo uso, non ho bisogno del correttore. Non
appesantisce, il risultato finale è sorprendentemente naturale. Non si infila
nelle rughette e non enfatizza i pori. Io lo fisso con la cipria perché ho la
pelle grassa e mi sento più sicura in questo modo ma, se avete la pelle
normale, potreste non averne bisogno. È facile da applicare e da sfumare. È a
lunga durata, non si formano crepe e non svanisce nell’arco della giornata. Ci
sono 5 ml in più di prodotto nella confezione.
Cosa non mi piace: bisogna imparare ad usarlo perché, se se
ne applica troppo risulta pesante e si va a infilare nelle rughette. Io uso
metà della quantità di prodotto che uso normalmente, e ottengo una coprenza
totale. È costoso, ci sono fondotinta più economici che vi permettono di
ottenere un risultato simile come, ad esempio, il Revlon 24h stay all day tanto
per citarne uno. E’ preferibile applicare un primer viso al di sotto perché,
altrimenti, si infila nelle rughette intorno agli occhi.
Il mio verdetto: mi piace e potrei ricomprarlo perché mi
piace la coprenza e la durata, ma non nego che ci sono altri fondotinta che
sono altrettanto validi.
