This month
I haven’t got many empties unfortunately, and that’s a pity because I thought I
would, but I’ve got lots of products that seem to be endless! They are almost
empty and everyday I think it’s time to get rid of them, but product still
comes out and I keep using them, does it happen to you as well? Hopefully they
will all be part of next month’s empties, for now let’s see what I ran out of
in September!
let’s start with skin care: I ran out of Kiko intensive hand balm , a hand cream I like and I already repurchased, it’s not greasy but it’s very moisturizing, I like it and I’ll write a review on it soon!
I’ve also
finished the body shop Vitamin E eye contour cream, a light cream that gets
absorbed fast and nourishes your under eye area without being sticky nor
greasy. I’ve repurchased it so many times and I will again, right now I’m
trying a kiko eye contour cream and so far I like it! The vitamin E line is for
mature skin and it might be too heavy for young people with oily skin, it’s
very moisturizing and I remember I broke out a lot when I first used it, when I
was 20 years old. Now it’s alright even though the night cream is still too
heavy for my skin type.
Unfortunately
I ran out of all my Elicina samples, and I’m very sad about it because this
cream really works, it helps with scars and spots, it keeps your skin toned and
tensed, it hydrates it without being greasy, it gives a slight filling effect
and it gives your skin a healthy and glowy look I love! I have to buy a full
size jar, it’s in my wish list!
I tried my
first mountagne jeunesse face mask , and it was a green tea peel off mask I
used twice: you apply it evenly on your face and you wait till it gets dry, and
then you peel it off. My skin looked radiant and cleansed afterwards, it
minimizes pores and gets rid of impurities, it’s not too strong though, I
didn’t have any redness or irritations, it’s a good mask and I want to try
more! Right now I’ve got the apricot scrub one to try, I’ll let you know if I
like that one too!
One of my
favourite summer products is Kiko shimmering body oil SPF 10, I recently wrote
a review about it, it’s a dry oil with a golden shimmer to it that is perfect
when it’s hot because it’s not oily at all, it’s fast absorbing and it gives
your skin such a nice glow! I feel it’s moisturizing on my skin, maybe it’s not
enough for very dry skin, but it’s such a nice product to add sparkles to your
body! I love it and I stocked it up!
I ran out
of the body shop shea oil that I use on my hair mostly, mixed with other oils
for deep conditioning or on its own to seal my ends. There are different type
of oils available at the body shop, and shea oil is one of my favourite oil for
hair care, because it keeps my hair shiny and frizz free without being heavy.
Let’s move
on to makeup, and even though I haven’t finished many products, I have to say
I’m really happy with those I’m getting rid of because they were part of my 10
pan project and I couldn’t wait to throw them away! First one is l’oreal nude
magique bb powder: I don’t like it at all, it’s very dry and it’s hard to get
enough product on your brush, I struggled till the end to use it; it gets into
pores making them look huge, it’s supposed to be a skin corrector but it
doesn’t do anything for me, it mattifies a bit but it’s not long lasting,
definitely a flop and I won’t repurchase it again!
a good mattifying powder is Urban Decay desleek one, it works well, it minimizes pores, it gives your skin a porcelain doll look, it keeps my skin matte for 6-7 hours, it doesn’t look cakey, it is a good product! At first I thought it was the best mattifying powder ever, but after trying some more I’ve changed my mind; it’s a good one and I might buy it again, but it’s not the best one ever.
I have to
throw away Maybelline eyestudio lasting drama gel liner because it’s too dry to
use it , there is a bit of product left still, but I can’t draw an even line
anymore with it. I’ve bought it at least two years ago, I think it lasted quite
long; I like it as gel liner, even though it can’t compete with mac fluidline
or mac chromaline.
Next
product is an essie nail polish, in st barth’s blue, I’ve got it for 6 or 7
years and there is just a tiny bit left, but last time I used it it had a
really strong smell and it was gloppy and hard to layer on my nails, which
means it’s time to throw it away! It was a nice icy blue shade but I’ve got
many similar ones and it won’t be missed, it did its job!
Last
product is a package of coop makeup wipes, they are full of product and they
work really well, I use them to wipe away fall out and I already repurchased
them!

Questo mese purtroppo non ho molti prodotti finiti, ed è un
peccato perché ero sicura che ce ne sarebbero stati tanti, ma alcuni prodotti
sembrano non finire mai, sono sempre sul punto di terminare e ogni giorno penso
che sia quello buono, ma invece continua ad uscire del prodotto , succede anche
a voi?! Probabilmente li vedrete tra i prodotti finiti del prossimo mese, per
ora vediamo quali sono quelli di settembre!
Iniziamo dai prodotti per la cura della pelle, e il primo è
una crema mani della Kiko, l’intensive hand balm, con cui mi trovo bene e che
ho già ricomprato, non unge e lascia la pelle morbida e idratata, presto
scriverò una recensione completa!
ho finito la crema contorno occhi alla vitamina E di the body shop, una crema leggera e di rapido assorbimento che idrata la zona perioculare senza essere appiccicosa o grassa. Non è la prima volta che la uso, e non sarà l’ultima, al momento sto provando una crema contorno occhi della Kiko , e mi ci sto trovando bene! La linea alla vitamina E è studiata per pelli mature , per questo motivo potrebbe risultare troppo pesante per pelli giovani e grasse, infatti la prima volta che l’ho provata, a 20 anni, mi aveva fatto spuntare moltissimi brufoli, tanto che avevo dovuto smettere di usarla. Adesso non mi dà più questo problema, anche se la crema da notte è ancora troppo pesante per me.
Purtroppo ho finito tutti i campioncini di Elicina, e mi
dispiace molto perché è una crema che funziona, attenua le cicatrici e le
macchie,tonifica la pelle, idrata senza appesantire, regala un leggero effetto
rimpolpante e un aspetto sano e luminoso che adoro!devo comprarne una
confezione, l’ho già aggiunta alla mia lista dei desideri!
Ho provato la mia prima maschera viso Mountagne Jeunesse, ed
era una maschera peel off al tè verde che ho usato in due volte: se ne applicava
uno strato uniforme sul viso, si aspettava che fosse asciutta, e poi si tirava
via lo strato. Lascia la pelle pulita e luminosa, riduce la dimensione dei pori
ed elimina le impurità ma non è aggressiva, non mi ha causato rossori o
irritazioni, è una buona maschera e non vedo l’ora di provarne altre! Ho lo
scrub all’albicocca da testare, vi farò sapere se mi piace!
Uno dei miei prodotti preferiti per l’estate è il Kiko body
shimmering oil SPF 10 di cui ho di recente pubblicato la recensione, è un olio
secco con tante micro particelle dorate adattissimo nel periodo caldo perché
non unge, si assorbe molto rapidamente e lascia la pelle scintillante! Per la
mia tipologia di pelle idrata a sufficienza, forse non è abbastanza ricco per
le pelli molto secche, ma vale comunque la pena provarlo per avere la pelle
luminosa e dorata! Io lo adoro e ne ho fatto scorta!
ho finito l’olio di karitè di the body shop che uso prevalentemente per i capelli, mischiato con altri oli per un’idratazione profonda o da solo per nutrire le punte. Il the body shop offre diversi tipi di oli nella sua gamma , e quello al karitè è uno dei miei preferiti per la cura dei capelli, perché elimina il crespo e li idrata senza appesantirli.
Passiamo ai prodotti di trucco, che se non sono molti questo
mese ma sono stata felice di terminarli perché erano tra quelli che volevo
smaltire da un po’ di tempo e che sembravano non finire mai! Il primo è L’oreal
nude magique bb powder: non mi è piaciuta per niente, è una polvere dura che si
fatica a prelevare, ho dovuto combattere fino alla fine; enfatizza i pori e li
fa sembrare più grandi di quello che sono, è descritta come un perfezionatore
di carnagione ma fa esattamente il contrario, appena applicata opacizza la
pelle, ma non è a lunga durata, per me è stata una delusione e non la
ricomprerò!
Una buona polvere opacizzante è invece la Urban Decay De
sleek, minimizza i pori, regala all’incarnato un effetto pelle di porcellana
senza appesantire, mantiene la pelle opaca per 6-7 ore, è decisamente un prodotto
valido! In un primo momento credevo fosse la migliore polvere opacizzante sul
mercato, ma dopo averne provate altre mi sono ricreduta: probabilmente la
riacquisterò, ma ce ne sono di migliori che preferisco.
Devo buttare l’eyeliner in gel di Maybelline eyestudio
lasting drama gel liner perché è ormai troppo secco e non riesco più ad
usarlo,non riesco più a tracciare una linea omogenea e pigmentata, quindi anche
se c’è ancora del prodotto all’interno devo cestinarlo. L’ho comprato almeno
due anni fa , direi che è durato a lungo, e lo considero un buon eyeliner,
anche se non può competere col mac fluidline o col mac chromaline.
Il prossimo prodotto è uno smalto della Essie in St.Barth’s
blue che ho da circa 6-7 anni, e ne è rimasto veramente poco, ma l’ultima volta
che l’ho usato ho notato che aveva un odore molto intenso ed era denso ,
difficile da stendere, il che vuol dire che è arrivato il momento di
eliminarlo! Il colore è un bell’azzurro ghiaccio, ma ne ho altri molto simili e
non ne sentirò la mancanza, ha fatto il suo lavoro!
L’ultimo prodotto che vi mostro è una confezione di
salviettine struccanti della Coop che ho già provveduto a sostituire, mi
piacciono perché sono imbevute di struccante e rimuovono velocemente il trucco.
Io le uso principalmente per pulire il viso da eventuali cadute di polveri.
È tutto per questo mese, ci vediamo il prossimo con altri
