TMOD4라고도 불리는 트로포모듈린4(근육)^[5]^[6]는 TMOD4 유전자에 의해 인체 내에서 암호화되는 단백질이다.

기능.

이 유전자는 액틴 조절 단백질의 트로포모듈린 계열의 근육 특이적 구성원을 암호화한다.암호화된 단백질은 신장과 탈중합 모두를 방지하는 액틴 필라멘트의 뾰족한 끝을 덮습니다.이 단백질의 캡핑 활성은 트로포미오신과의 관련성에 따라 달라진다.다른 Isoform을 코드하는 대체 스플라이스된 전사 변종이 설명되었다.^[7]
