Paphos (or Pafos), is a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus. It lies on the Mediterranean coast.

A sea cave is a type of cave formed mostly by the action of the waves of the sea causing erosion. They are found throughout the world.

Cyprus has two official languages, Greek and Turkish. Armenian and Cypriot Maronite Arabic are recognized as minority languages. Although without official status, Russian is widely spoken among the country's minorities, residents and citizens of post-Soviet countries, as well as Pontic Greeks. It is used and spoken by approximately 100,000 people. In addition to these languages, 76% of the population of Cyprus speak English, 12% speak French, and 5% speak German.

The everyday spoken language of Greek Cypriots is Cypriot Greek and that of Turkish Cypriots is Cypriot Turkish. These both differ from their respective standard register quite significantly.

Paphos (Pafos) is a coastal city in the southwest on the island of Cyprus.
It enjoys a Subtropical-Mediterranean climate, with the mildest temperatures on the island. The typical summer's season lasts about 8 months, from April to November, although in March and December temperatures may also reach 20 °C (68.0 °F).

Troodos  is the biggest mountain range of Cyprus, located in the center of the island. 

The mountain range stretches across most of the western side of Cyprus. There are many famous mountain resorts, monasteries and churches on mountain peaks, and nestled in its valleys are picturesque mountain villages clinging to terraced hill slopes. Also, the area has been known since ancient times for its mines.

The Flour Sifter's Dance
This is a Greek Cypriot dance of craftsmanship. The dancer is trying to keep the four glasses filled with wine in the flour sieve, while dancing and twirling the sieve at great speed. Members of Zorba's Dancing Group are arranged around the flour sifter in the picture.
