Winger is an American Heavy Metal Band from New York City, formed in 1987 by Kip Winger (Lead Vocals, Bass), Reb Beach (Guitar), Paul Taylor (Keyboards) and Rod Morgenstein (Drums Ex The Dixie Dregs).  The band has combined elements Glam Metal and Pop Metal same as Bon Jovi and Poison.  The band gained popularity during the late 1980s and early 1990s, and got two platinum albums Winger and In The Heart Of The Young, along with charting singles "Seventeen", "Headed For A Heartbreak" and "Miles Away" and the band was nominated for an American Music Award for "Best New Heavy Metal Band".

Blind Guardian is a German Power Metal Band formed in the mid-1980s in Krefeld, West Germany by Hansi Kursch (Lead Vocals, Bass), Andre Olbrich (Lead Guitar), Markus Dork (Guitar) and Thomas Stauch (Drums) under the name Lucifer's Heritage, after signed contract with No Remorse Records, and the band changed their name to Blind Guardian.  In 1991 the band signed with Virgin Records.  The band released 9 studio albums, 2 Live albums and 2 Compilation albums.
