Big Big Train are an English Progressive Rock Band from Bourmemouth, formed in 1990 by Greg Spawton (Guitars, Keyboards, Bass), and Andy Poole (Bass, Keyboards, Guitars).   The following year recruitment of Ian Cooper (Keyboards), Steve Hughes (Drums), and Martin Read (Lead Vocals).  In 1994, the band released their debut album Goodbye To The Age Of Steam.  Big Big Train were the winners of the Breakthrough Award at the Progressive Music Awards held at Kew Gardens, London on September 3, 2013.
