Amy Winehouse was an English Singer and Songwriter from London.  She was known for her deep, expressive contralto Vocals and her eclectric mix of musical genres, including Soul, Rhythm & Blues, and Jazz.  Her success in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize.  The song "Stronger Than Me", won her the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors.  She released her  album, Back To Black, in 2006, she went to become an international success and one of the Best-Selling Albums in UK history.   At the 2007 Brit Awards it was nominated for British Album of the Year, and she received the award for British Female Solo Artist.  The song "Rehab" won her a second Ivor Novello Award at the 50th Grammy Awards in 2008, she won five awards, and becoming the first British woman to win five Grammys, including three Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year (for "Rehab"), as well as Best Pop Vocal Album.

Band Of Gypsys was the collaboration for the only live recordings album by Jimi Hendrix and the first without his original group, The Jimi Hendrix Experience.  It was recorded on January 1, 197 0, at the Fillmore East iin New York City with Billy Cox (Bass,worked with Sam Cooke, Slim Harpo, John McLaughlin, Rufus Thomas, LuRawls, Etta James, Jackie Wilson, Little Richard and more), and Buddy Miles (Drums Ex The Electric Flag, worked with Carlos Santana), because The Experience had broken up in June of 1969, frequently referred to as the Band Of Gypsys.  The album mixes Funk and Rhythm & Blues elements with Hard Rock and Jamming.  The album released before Jimi Hendrix death six months later.

Brian Auger  is an English Jazz Rock and Rock Music Keyboardist who specialises in the Hammond Organ.  He has worked with Rod Stewart, Tony Williams, Jimi Hendrix, John McLaughlin, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Eric Clapton.  He incorporated Jazz, early British Pop, R&B, Soul Music and Rock into the sound.  He has been nominated for a Grammy Award.  In 1965, he played on "For Your Love" by The Yardbirds as a session musician.  That same year, he formed the group The Steampacket with Long John Baldry, Julie Driscoll, Vic Briggs and Rod Stewart.  Due to contractual problems there were no official recordings made by the band.  With Julie Driscoll and The Trinity.  In 1970, he formed the Jazz Fusion ensemble Brian Auger's Oblivion Express.
