Abstract
A turbine blade is made of a titanium carbide sintered skeleton which is impregnated and covered with a corrosion resistant alloy. The skeleton contains Ti 75,2 per cent, C 21 per cent, N 0,70 per cent and traces of the following, Si, Fe, V, Kr, Cb, Cr, Mn, Cu, Al, Mg, Ca, Sn. The protective alloys may be of the types Vitallium, Nimonic-80, Inconel, Nichrome, Hastelloy Alloy C, Multanet.
