Abstract
A "near alpha" titanium alloy has the following percentage composition:- .Al.2 - 4 .Zr.3 - 7 .Sn.4 - 8 .Mo.0.2 - 0.8 .Si.0.1 - 0.8 .Ti.the remainder The alloy may also contain up to 3% in total of one or more of the following:- Fe, Co, Ni, Cr, Mn, V, Be, B, Nb, Sb, W, Bi.
