Abstract
An article or part subjected in use to stress at high temperatures is made from an alloy containing 5-30 per cent. of chromium, 0-0.25 per cent. of carbon, 0-1.4 per cent. of titanium, and up to 5 per cent. of aluminium, the titanium content plus one and a half times the aluminium content being at least 1.5 per cent., the balance of the alloy, apart from impurities which do not exceed 3 per cent., being nickel plus cobalt with a nickel content of at least 50 per cent. The article or part may be heat-treated and stressed before use as described in the parent Specification.
