Wow, Videoslots has just gradually slipped further down the list, and not only here but other review sites as well.They need to go back to caring about their customers again or they will find themselves clawing from the bottom of the pile in a couple short years here.
They were actually one of the few casinos we rated a full five stars in the past. Their service, payment speed, and range of games is second to none. Since they started reducing RTPs as well as being fined for not enforcing responsible gambling policies we dropped them down half a star. We're keeping an eye on them and they could still go lower.
The problem with these games with adjustable RTPs is that you are going to have to investigate each time you play them, no matter where you play, because you cannot be sure that the operator has not changed the setting since the last time you played. The easier solution is just to not play their games any more. Maybe NetEnt, Play'n Go etc will get the message, maybe not.
As for calling a lowered RTP game "rigged", a game at 92% is no more or less rigged than a game at 96% so long as they are both properly random. I would reserve such a term for games that are actively cheating via non-random mechanisms. While I don't like it as much as any player, the game discloses the RTP so the onus is now on us to check.
