All of the casino bonuses ranked below allow you to play video poker. There are many variations of video poker available online, and the paytables on the same game (eg Jacks or Better) vary between casinos, so you have a wide choice. Look out for the multi-hand variants, which allow you to play 20, 50, or even 100 hands at once, which can be a useful way to decrease variance while playing.
There are two main types of video poker casino bonuses:
- Cashable video poker bonuses: bonuses you can keep after meeting wager requirements.
- Non-cashable (or "sticky") video poker bonuses: bonuses you can wager and keep winnings, but you cannot keep the bonus.

Notes on video poker bonuses
While it may be a quick way to boost your bankroll, doubling up will almost never count towards clearing the wagering requirements on a video poker bonus. This is of course due to the fact that the 50/50 odds mean that there no house advantage to a double up bet. However doubling-up is almost never outright banned, so you can still use it to either quickly build up your bankroll at the start of a bonus session, or bust out early without playing through hours of wagering requirements.
However some casinos will limit the bet size allowed while playing with a bonus to try to stop players from making a winning hand and doubling it 4 or 5 times, then turtling through the remaining wagering requirements with small bet sizes. Unfortunately most casinos do not institute the bet limit in the software itself, leaving the player in the position where they could accidentally or unknowingly break the rule. Make sure that you always check the terms of the promotion before you begin playing so that you are not caught out by a clause like this.
We have had a few emails from people complaining that they could not play Texas Hold'em poker with these bonuses. To be clear, these bonuses are for the electronic single-player casino game known as video poker only, not poker played against other people at a card table.
