Description
a)細長い鋼製エレメントに三元合金または四元合金の銅−M−亜鉛被覆物を被覆するステップであり、Mが、コバルト、ニッケル、スズ、インジウム、マンガン、鉄、ビスマス、およびモリブデンからなる群から選択される1種または2種の金属であり、被覆物内の銅含有量が、58重量%〜75重量%の範囲であり、被覆物内の1種または2種の金属の含有量が、0.5重量%〜10重量%の範囲であり、残りが、亜鉛および不可避不純物であり、1種または2種の金属が、前記被覆物全体にわたって存在する、ステップと、
b)このように被覆させた細長い鋼製エレメントを、リン化合物を含有する水性潤滑剤中で伸線加工(drawing)するステップであり、リン化合物の量が、リンが被覆物の1平方メートル当たり1mg未満の量で被覆物上に存在するようになっている、ステップとを含む。リンの量は、誘導結合プラズマ技術によって測定される。潤滑剤にはさらに、被覆物中の銅と錯体化して不溶性膜を形成する化合物がない。この方法にはまた、細長い鋼製エレメントをこのような化合物で処理する他のステップがない。潤滑剤は、乳濁液でも分散液でもよい。
i)H2SO4溶液で酸洗いして、鋼製ワイヤの表面を清浄する工程と、
ii)Cu2P2O7溶液を用いて銅で電気めっきする工程であって、その溶液は、25g/lの銅および180g/lのピロリン酸塩を含有しており、電流密度は、銅含有量をより高くするために8.6A/dm2もしくはそれ以上である、工程と、
iii)CoSO4溶液を用いてコバルトで電気めっきする工程であって、その溶液は、40g/lのコバルトを含有しており、電流密度は22A/dm2である、工程と、
iv)ZnSO4溶液を用いて亜鉛で電気めっきする工程であって、その溶液は、50g/lの亜鉛を含有しており、電流密度は、亜鉛含有量をより低くするために8.8A/dm2もしくはそれ以下である、工程と、
v)熱拡散プロセスを施して、三元合金Cu−Co−Znを作製する工程と、
vi)拡散プロセス中に形成された過剰なZnOを、酸中にディップすることにより除去する工程と、
vii)濯ぎ、乾燥させる工程である。
3−I−refは、潤滑剤Iにおいて伸線加工したものであり、その被覆物中に63.95重量%のCu、およびその被覆物上または中に0.81mg/m2のリンを有する。
3−X−refは、潤滑剤Xにおいて伸線加工したものであり、その被覆物中に64.30重量%のCu、およびその被覆物上または中に1.09mg/m2のリンを有する。
3−Y−refは、潤滑剤Yにおいて伸線加工したものであり、その被覆物中に64.20重量%のCu、およびその被覆物上または中に1.28mg/m2のリンを有する。
Claims (7)
- ゴム製品の補強用の細長い鋼製エレメントであって、
前記細長い鋼製エレメントが、銅−M−亜鉛の三元または四元合金被覆物の被覆物で覆われており、
Mが、コバルト、ニッケル、スズ、インジウム、マンガン、鉄、ビスマス、およびモリブデンからなる群から選択される1種または2種の金属であり、
前記被覆物内の銅含有量が、58重量%〜75重量%の範囲であり、
前記被覆物内の1種または2種の金属含有量が、0.5重量%〜10重量%の範囲であり、
残りが、亜鉛および不可避不純物であり、
前記1種または2種の金属が、前記被覆物全体にわたって存在し、
前記被覆物の上および/または中にリンが存在し、前記リンが、前記被覆物の1平方メートル当たり0.3mg〜1mgの範囲の量であって、前記リンの量が、誘導結合プラズマ技術によって測定され、
さらに、前記被覆物は、ToF−SIMS技術により測定したときに、前記被覆物中の銅と錯体化して不溶性膜を形成する化合物の残分がない、細長い鋼製エレメント。 - 前記銅含有量が、61重量%〜70重量%の範囲である、請求項1に記載の細長い鋼製エレメント。
- 前記1種または2種の金属含有量が、2重量%〜8重量%の範囲である、請求項2に記載の細長い鋼製エレメント。
- 前記細長い鋼製エレメントが、鋼製ワイヤまたは鋼製コードである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の細長い鋼製エレメント。
- ゴム製品の補強用の細長い鋼製エレメントを製造する方法であって、
a.細長い鋼製エレメントに銅−M−亜鉛の三元または四元合金を被覆するステップであり、Mが、コバルト、ニッケル、スズ、インジウム、マンガン、鉄、ビスマス、およびモリブデンからなる群から選択される1種または2種の金属であり、前記被覆物内の銅含有量が、58重量%〜75重量%の範囲であり、前記被覆物内の1種または2種の金属含有量が、0.5重量%〜10重量%の範囲であり、残りが、亜鉛および不可避不純物であり、前記1種または2種の金属が、前記被覆物全体にわたって存在する、ステップと、
b.前記被覆後の細長い鋼製エレメントを、リン化合物を含有する水性潤滑剤中で伸線加工するステップであって、前記リン化合物の量が、リンが前記被覆物の1平方メートル当たり0.3mg〜1mgの範囲の量で前記被覆物上および/または中に存在するようになっており、前記リンの量が、誘導結合プラズマ技術によって測定され、前記潤滑剤にはさらに、前記被覆物中の前記銅と錯体化して不溶性膜を形成する化合物がなく、それにより、前記被覆物には、ToF−SIMS技術により測定したときに、前記化合物の残分がない、ステップと
を含む方法。
- 前記方法が、2つ以上の前記細長い鋼製エレメントを撚るステップをさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- ゴム化合物と細長い鋼製エレメントとを含む補強されたゴム物品であって、前記細長い鋼製エレメントが、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の細長い鋼製エレメントである、補強されたゴム物品。
