Ukrainian officials denied Red Bull permission to drift in front of the Saint Sophia Cathedral, but Red Bull drivers ignored the ruling and drifted in the UNESCO World Heritage Site's Sofievskaya Square - and had their cars confiscated

championship drifters Conor Shanahan and Aleksandr Grinchuk drifted in tandem around the square typically reserved for pedestrian traffic,

The chairperson for Ukraine's Tourism Development says Red Bull insists that it did, in fact, have permission to film at the location. She noted that the situation was odd, especially since another comment shows that Ukrainian police were watching the event take place and that an investigation into whether or not the energy drink company had permission was still ongoing.

Travis Pastrana took over the Ken Block Gymkhana series' 11th episode

the last instalment in Ken Block's Gymkhana series, was in 2018, and in it we saw the head Hoonigan pass the steering wheel to occasional series guest star Travis Pastrana, hinting that Pastrana would take over in future videos.

The future is now, the official title is Gymkhana 2020.

proof that 25 \mph speed limits on country roads are bullshit

and that jump at 145 mph was pretty cool, but should have been worked out for another 20 feet of air... to get to the far side of the next downslope

Not bad, but not even in the same league as the first couple Ken Block did, because those were exciting. I guess once you've seen 6 or 7, that about all the clever idea are used up.

The videos that BJ Baldwin and RJ Anderson made were better and more original. No criticism of this video, but it's just derivative because the same guy has made all the Gymkhana videos for Ken Block... and it's a lack of imagination on his part to not come up with something more amazing... but hey, not many people can. It's like musicians, they are talented and start out strong with incredible stuff, but in just an album or two can't make a hit song to save their life.

Guns n Roses, 3 albums for example and none of the others held a candle to the first... Boston had 1 incredible album and poof, they were done, Michael Jackson built up to Thriller, and was downhill after that, the Stones were done in ten years, AC DC and Metallica were done in 5 albums, etc. We are all stuck in a rut, except for the few truly amazing ones. Ozzy lasted longer than most for quality in several decades, Van Halen carried the quality through 2 lead singers, but was only truly amazing with DL Roth. Elton John was amazing for at least two decades, Queen was simply unbelievable, who the hell can top Bohemian Rhapsody?

this is terrific, the world record flugtug distance (have I lost you already?) was set by Miss Mitchell II! (In the nearby Hangar #3 at Fleming Field in South St. Paul is the actual B 25 Miss Mitchell)

Rachel Norman's team "Major Trouble and the Dirty Dixies,"  set a new record with the "Miss Mitchell II," a man-made and woman-piloted flying machine broke the year 2000 previous world record of 195 feet.

"Major Trouble and the Dirty Dixies," of Inver Grove Heights, came up with the idea to model their flying craft after Miss Mitchell. They came up with a very good representation of Miss Mitchell.

The B-25J "Miss Mitchell" served in the 310th Bomb Group, 57th Bomb Wing of the 12th Air Force in North Africa and Italy completing over 130 missions.  https://commemorativeairforce.org/aircraft/7

A lot of engineering, time and testing were put into the craft, and it was worth it! The aircraft was pushed from the 30 ft high platform, released from its base and cleared the world record, flying 207 ft

skip the first 38 seconds on this next one, blogger won't allow me aymore to change the code to get videos to start on queue

now I have a new glider ambition, should I win the lotto. I have for the past 20 years wanted a Platz Glider, now I want a glider that looks like a WW2 bomber.

Is this not the coolest looking glider you've ever seen?
