67 Rambler Rebel was originally acquired by the owner of an AMC dealership, in 1979, it was presented to his nine-year-old son as a gift. The kid didn't want it. So, it waited 43 years in a barn

This video only gets to where the car is taken to a garage, put on a lift, had the brakes, tires, and carb replaced, then if you want to see the rest of the story, you need to got to HBO / Max and look for the season 1 finale if "Roadworthy Rescues"

It turns out, this is an edited teaser video, the same video on Max, is 43 minutes, and just the above video section of 13 minutes is more like 19 on the streaming service.

Posting from the con ( convention)

as promised, my first stop was to get a photo of the first car I've ever heard of being given away in a Comic Con related promo http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2022/07/oh-wow-cozi-tv-just-made-my-day-by.html for info

making the trolley cars look like school buses is a pretty clever vinyl wrap idea, that I haven't seen done
before. It's a promotion for a tv show called Abbott Elementary https://abc.com/shows/abbott-elementary

NBC is having a sweepstakes give away of a 1962 Rambler American 400 convertible like the one on 3rd Rock From The Sun at Comic Con

the car being given away in the 3rd Rock from the Sun Rambler Sweepstakes was acquired by COZI TV in 2021, shortly after the show joined the network’s regular line-up on July 19, 2021.

COZI TV worked with a garage, to repair systems, update mechanicals and customize features to be similar to the 3rd Rock Rambler.

The original Rambler from the series is currently on display at the Wisconsin Auto Museum and owned by the Kenosha History Center in Wisconsin. The Rambler will be delivered to the winner of the Sweepstakes in the Fall of 2022!

enter for a chance to win between now and August 31st, 2022, if you're over 18, the fully restored classic car through the COZI TV 3rd Rock Rambler Sweepstakes, which anyone is available to enter, at https://www.cozitv3rdrocksweepstakes.com

one entry per person

Look at the daily driver Tom found this morning!

Ain't that a BEAUTY!

That would be so cool to use as a daily driver. No performance parts, just add gas and do oil changes!

Thanks Tom!

I found a crazy variety of interesting cars on tonights walk

I don't remember if I've EVER seen a Rambler like this before, and then-

When was the last time you saw a Plymouth VIP?

Hasn't been registered since 2014

And neither has this Corvair... in the same alley, about 50 feet away
