In late October 2017, fashion brand Kipling announced their Snow White collection of bags. It includes a slew of themed backpacks, handbags, wristlets, and keychains. Here's a look at some of the available designs.

Currently available online at the Disney Store is this 2017 Snow White school backpack for kids. Measures 16" high x 12" wide x 5" deep. Zippered compartments and exterior mesh pockets. Interior Snow White ID label. List price: $24.95. Top of bag can be personalized up to 10 characters (additional $5.95).

2017 pencil cases and school bags by Loungefly. Fabric: polyester. Seen online at Hot Topic. Pencil cases measures 8" x 4.5". SRP $10.90. School bags 11.5" x 17". SRP $50.90.

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, the Neevel Manufacturing Company was at one time "the largest luggage unit producing factory in the United States." Among their many products were numerous Disney-themed bags and cases. One example is this Snow White vinyl purse or schoolbag for children.

Dates from the 1940s or 50s. The graphic of Snow and the dwarfs appears on only one side. Marked with "© Walt Disney Productions" imprint. The bag is zippered across the top along with a pair of handles. Measures approximately 9.5" in length and about 5" high (not including handles).

In the previous post, we saw Snow White bags produced in 1953 by the National Leather Mfg. Co. Here's another satchel with Snow and the dwarfs on the front panel. Measures approximately 8.5" x 12" x 2.5" deep. Made of vinyl-covered texton. Plastic handle and latch with metal components and buckle.



This one looks like a school bag and probably dates from the US theatrical re-release in 1958. It's mentioned, along with a "utility bag", in the '58 Snow White pressbook (p.7). Retail price $2.59. It is also listed on page 8 of the Snow White Merchandising Supplement to the 1967 US Pressbook.

In 1953, the National Leather Manufacturing Company of Brooklyn, NY issued a wholesale catalog of assorted bags for children. Several pages included Disney-themed designs including Snow White.




Not surprisingly, a couple of full pages are dedicated to Peter Pan, which was released in 1953. There's also Alice in Wonderland bags, Pinocchio, and Donald Duck too.

A kid's Snow White backpack was issued in 1993 to coincide with the North American release of the film that year. Manufactured by Wiz Too. There were two color-schemes were available: 1) front illustration with a brown cottage door and side panels of blue; 2) yellow cottage door and red side panels.
