Summary
"Falling Stars" is the first installment of my "Azure Moon" series, following the main canon storyline from MTaS, sprinkled with headcanon details, events, and conversations along the way.
In this particular tale, I aimed to create a more in-depth version of the Builder's introduction ("you") to the gang, how their individual friendships come to fruition, all of which eventually lead into other canon concepts/headcanon ideas that carry over into latter parts of the game and into other the sequels I'm writing.
The entirety of this story follows "The Goat" with a headcanon twist surrounding the water tower incident... I'll leave it there!
As a teaser, the big plotline shift is that you spend the night at the hideout instead of leaving right away, and what happens, well... let's just say there is a lot of quality time spent with Logan and seriously strong hinting at a budding romance towards the end, the intention to create a slow burn setup that we all seem to adore.
If I'm being honest, I really just wanted to share my version of my Builder and Logan's beginning because I feel it explains the reason I see Logan trusting our Builder so easily and quite frankly, deeply.

It’s warm, confusing, enlightening. It grounds him for reasons he doesn’t want to admit.
On the other hand, Axel doesn’t know what to make of the young man hanging around at his house or that he’s living with the son of his mortal enemy. He goes along with it either way out of a faint thing called hope. He tolerates it only because he can keep an eye on him.
And then Mr. Y begins to cough up flower petals.
