Summary
In youth when the blue eyed child was taken away from the warmth of his mother's arms and into the cold, cruel embrace of the Lin Kuei order, Kuai Liang found himself lost without guidance nor direction. He knew nothing of the world.
At least, he had a brother.
Growing up to be heartless, being taught to be bitter, with the only one he cared about in the world was his only family, Bi-Han wondered if he would ever be free from this confinement he called home.
So young and lacking the voice to dissent, Bi-Han had to obey the rules of Lin Kuei and watched silently as Kuai Liang slowly followed in his bloodstained footsteps.
Time went on... Paths diverted, strangers were met, blood was lost, loves were found.
Was there a way out? A way they didn't have to be smeared in sins and be together as brothers? Were their bonds destined to be severed?May fate tell.

Ashrah shook her head and removed the badge from its box. "You don't have to be," she insisted as she removed the badge from the box. "You could just keep it for the memory." She stepped forward and met his gaze. "May I?" Syzoth glanced to the side and paused before nodding. He felt his face warm as Ashrah reached forward and gently fastened the badge to his vest. "There, perfect."

“Had you trained harder, you would be champion,” Liu Kang said, giving the younger shaolin a soft smile.
“I am well aware, lord Liu Kang…” Kung Lao replied, unable to return the god’s expression.
Though the comment was simply in passing, his words just wouldn't leave his mind. Over and over again, that sentence repeated in his head, and every time, his brows furrowed even deeper. In an attempt to quell his frustrations by going over the god of fire’s words, the only thing he got out of this was irritation, and indignation.
At dinner, Kung Lao did his best to soften his gaze, but his tightly knit brows, upturned lip, and his stiff grip on his utensils were just about giving him away.
Kung Lao was slumped in his chair, one hand on his forehead, and the other poking at his food with a fork. He was half trying to cover his face, not wanting to be questioned about his mood, but irritability festered in his chest like a disease, a feeling strong enough that he wasn't able to squash it.
Liu Kang’s words filled his thoughts, and where he should have felt respect, he felt spite.

If nothing else, she's a point of pride for Johnny because she's such an awesome kid. Even if he's screwed up everything else in his life, he still has her.
