Summary
Sokke has been Zuko's girlfriend for two years now, ever since she and Suki split up and Zuko left Mai. Being the Fire Lord's girlfriend is weird because she's a Southern Water Tribe warrior and Hakoda's right hand man, so ever since they started dating, she and Zuko barely see each other. They mostly communicate through letters or see each other on Team Avatar missions.

Summary
Julieta watched as Mirabel played with the two children in the sandbox, clearly not worried about the upcoming family dinner. Mamá had been talking about some great deal she got, which would add to the family’s prestige somewhat, but she couldn’t help but wonder if she was covering something up. She’d certainly been eying Isabela and treating her differently, spending whole days with her, but Julieta couldn’t shake the feeling that she was scheming and her eldest daughter was her pawn.
“Cute, isn’t it?” the woman beside her asked, her eyes on the two children. In fact, she seemed to look somewhat like the boy, while the girl probably had features from her father. “They certainly seem happy today.”
“It is. I like to see my little girl happy.” She cleared her throat. “I’m sorry to ask, but what’s your name?”
The woman smiled. “Oh, it’s Kya.”
“Julieta Madrigal. You might know me better as Dr. Madrigal. Or Pepa’s sister.”
Kya beamed. “Well, good to finally meet you.”
OR
While taking Mirabel out to the park before a family dinner, Julieta runs into one of Pepa’s friends, Kya, and strikes up a conversation regarding their children.

Summary
She was never told to think for herself. To do for herself. To contribute for herself
So when a man, a waterbender, asked her father for her hand, she felt right in the middle of a battlefield. Only she, is a girl, a none-bender nonetheless. She doesn't have a chance against benders, neither does she against the say of men.The foam-stone, which has the Water Tribe's symbol engraved on it, is as blue as his eyes. The ribbon is a darker shade, which more reminded her of the sea at night. It is as traditional as one could possibly imagine. Boring more than she could possibly bare.
It was that he gave it to her, she knows, what made her get up and leave.

Summary
Normally, trekking across the tundra was something that Bato and Hakoda did with Hakoda’s father Silak as a guide. But Silak was still in recovery from a hunting accident three weeks prior, and the whole village waited in anticipation of the coming storm. The sky had gone completely gray, and it wouldn’t be long before the small flurries that were falling now would turn to much larger flakes and howling winds that would shroud the village in a thick white blanket. As a result, Bato, Kya, and Hakoda were now anxiously standing outside Kanna’s igloo, with one measly pile of sticks between them.”
“Remember, we were just gathering firewood like normal-”
“Uh-huh-”
“When we got attacked by a- um, you know- a polar bear dog-”
“But we didn’t get attacked by a polar bear dog,” said Bato matter- of -factly.
“Oh for Tui’s sake Bato you think we don’t know that? The point is that we definitely didn’t get lost trying to find Old Man Kiviuk’s magic bola.” Hakoda crossed his arms, looking back and forth between Bato and Kya. If it even existed.A 12 year old Hakoda meets his future teenage friend group and witnesses the birth of Bato's little sister. Oneshot.

Summary
Thanks to the intervention of Kanna, Hakoda, Bato, and Kya head out in the evening for a last-minute date night. Of course, not everything is perfect and there are things that need to be spoken about--like the fact Kanna had to intervene, like the fact Bato has been far too quiet lately, like the fact Kya and Hakoda feel like something is breaking and they don't know how to fix it alone.

Summary
If Kanna had a flaw, it was that she was rash when her feelings got the better of her. Not that anyone realized, since it was when her face was completely blank that she was feeling the most extreme emotions.
Pakku and everyone else assumed that she would remain complacent. That she would keep the peace and keep with the excuses that they all spouted.
...
Kanna left the Northern Water Tribe.

Nida paused. A smile twitched at the corners of her lips. “Well… There has always been more to bending than sheer ability.” She kissed the top of Kanna’s head, earning a delighted giggle from her daughter. “Would you like to know the most important rule?”
Kanna sat up, nodding eagerly. “Yes!”
“To speak the language of the waters…” Her mother winked at her. “The first thing you must do is listen.”

Summary
Zuko’s present to Sokka for their five year anniversary was a visit to the Southern Water tribe. Or, well, that was what Sokka thought his present was. In reality, Zuko had a much more meaningful gift in mind, if all went to plan.
But he would need help, and he knew exactly who to go to.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zuko plans to propose to Sokka, but soon realizes that he knows less about Southern Water Tribe culture than he thought he did. Luckily, Kanna is there to help him.
The plan however, takes him away from Sokka, who starts to suspect the worst.

Summary
“Come on love, talk to me,” Sokka said.
Zuko looked down. “What if they don’t think I’m … good enough for you?”
“Oh, love…” Sokka pressed a gentle kiss to the crown of Zuko’s head. “That’s not gonna happen. You already won over Gran Gran, and you know my dads love you.”
“Yeah but... they love me as their son’s best friend, not as his boyfriend.” He sniffed. “I’ve hurt you before, how would they know I won’t do it again?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sokka and Zuko have decided to tell Hakoda and Bato about their relationship. Sokka’s nervous, sure, but Zuko is downright terrified, so he enlists Kanna's help, and learns a little bit about cooking and a lot about life in the process.
Then things don't go quite right at dinner. Luckily, Dadkoda is there to help and Zuko begins to realize that maybe he can be loved after all (and that maybe he's been loved all along).

Summary
“I’m uh… sorry about the nightmare. I didn’t mean to bother you.” Zuko looked away from her, down at his hands tightly wrapped around the topmost blanket.
Kanna had to fight the urge to wrap him up in a hug and never let go. She would respect his space, but spirits, after he said that it was almost impossible to tamp down the instinct.
“Zuko, you never have to apologize for something like that. And you are never a bother.” She reached forward slowly, squeezing his shoulder in what she hoped was a comforting manner. “I know you’ve had a tough go at it. But you’re family now, and not just because of Sokka.”
-----------------------------------------------------
The second time Zuko visits the Southern Water Tribe, Kanna makes it her personal mission to give him a home. Nothing less for Sokka’s boyfriend after all.
