Mirabel becomes intrigued by a mysterious homeless drifter whom the town seems to despise, but she soon discovers that, in reality, no one knows anything about him. Not his story, his name, or how he ended up sleeping on the streets. There’s no information about this man. Mirabel can’t understand how such a person can exist in Encanto, where everyone knows each other.
But the worst part begins when they manage to get some information out of him. The drifter is on the trail of a killer who plans to destroy the town by any means necessary.

Summary
Mirabel is very 'unceptional', in a massively succesful family. She knows that, no one needs to say it. She doesn't like to mope about it, and she goes about her days like any normal person would. So why does she suddenly have these amazing powers? Her biggest idol, Mister Miracle, had always preached that the more power one has, the more responsability that power entails. But Mirabel still isn't convinced.
After a chance encounter with a supervillain, Mirabel is forced to use her superpowers, which ropes her in with the Encanto's battle against the villain. After witnessing the sacrifice and pain the heroes go through, Mirabel truly realizes what Mister Miracle's words meant.
With great power, comes great responsability; to others.

Julieta watched as Mirabel played with the two children in the sandbox, clearly not worried about the upcoming family dinner. Mamá had been talking about some great deal she got, which would add to the family’s prestige somewhat, but she couldn’t help but wonder if she was covering something up. She’d certainly been eying Isabela and treating her differently, spending whole days with her, but Julieta couldn’t shake the feeling that she was scheming and her eldest daughter was her pawn.
“Cute, isn’t it?” the woman beside her asked, her eyes on the two children. In fact, she seemed to look somewhat like the boy, while the girl probably had features from her father. “They certainly seem happy today.”
“It is. I like to see my little girl happy.” She cleared her throat. “I’m sorry to ask, but what’s your name?”
The woman smiled. “Oh, it’s Kya.”
“Julieta Madrigal. You might know me better as Dr. Madrigal. Or Pepa’s sister.”
Kya beamed. “Well, good to finally meet you.”
