Summary
Our saltwater solution reduces gravity’s pull by over 80%, ensuring you'll effortlessly stay afloat! We keep the water at a steady 36 degrees—matching your skin’s temperature. This blend of weightlessness and warmth blurs the lines between your body and the water, as your nerves can’t tell where you end and the surrounding environment begins.
Weightlessness. Yeah. If anything’s gonna be Ed’s cure-all, it’s gotta be weightlessness, right?
Ed’s carried around weight for most of his life. He’s tired. His muscles ache. His joints are all ground down to dust.
Also - the word solution is right there. Which proves it.
This is it. This is Ed’s solution.
(Or: Ed's on a wellness journey for his fuckass brain. It's not going great. The guy at the float tank place is being way too nice about it. Please mind the tags!)

Summary
There’s a bit of concern when he walks in on Iggy basically like…up in Edward’s face, a piece of paper shoved under his nose. He’s a little more concerned when Iggy snarls out, “This is Blackbeard! Not some namby pamby in a silk dressing gown pining for his—”
“Heyyyyyy,” Lucius says awkwardly. Two sets of eyes turn to him, one furious, the other…scared? Is Edward scared of fucking Iggy? Lucius clears his throat, looking between the two of them. Iggy’s got one hand clenched in Edward’s robe near his throat and Edward looks…frozen. “So…this is a weird vibe.”

What if Lucius had walked in on the "I should have let the English kill you" scene?

Summary
After the events of Rolling in the Deep, Ed, Stede and Izzy try to find a balance in their relationship. Stede and Izzy still don't agree on everything, but as long as Edward is happy, that's all that matters.
And Edward is happy. He's got the men he loves, and Blackbeard's reputation to keep them all safe. Never mind the nightmares he's been having, of a monster lurking beneath the waves. Never mind the days when he feels like he can't take the pressure anymore. And never mind the voice in the back of his head, telling him that the people he loves might be better off without him.
Tie it all to the anchor. Let it sink into the dark.

Read obsession first so you know what's happening 💘
Reader Review
"I don't know how a content warning could possibly be adequate. It's gross and sad and deeply upsetting. You feel bad after you read it, and while you're reading it also. I don't think it's possible to get off to the sex, no matter how fucked up you are. It is well written, though."Series

Summary
Stede is a complete and utter bed hog.
Ed already guessed this, to be fair—the man sprawls across his whole life the same way, totally unaware of how much space he takes up, of where he shouldn’t fit—but before everything, it had been a source of idle fantasy for Ed.
But that was before. Now Ed just wants a decent fucking night’s sleep, and he can’t do that with half his ass off the bed. Trying to move Stede does nothing, though, because even when Ed manages to push him against the wall Stede just sprawls back out a minute later, worse than before. So after an infuriating half hour of push and pull, Ed goes for plan B.

This is part of authority, posted separately because I want readers to opt-in to heavy gore content.
Ed attempts to have a pleasant wank about Stede and ends up jerking it to a deeply disturbing fantasy about Izzy instead.

Ed’s dead set on proving every single soft thing Stede ever saw in him is wrong, because Stede insisted all he needed was a gentle touch until Ed believed it too.
So who's afraid of Edward Teach?
Because they should be.

Before, he was just Edward. A little kid whose best friend was imaginary, wouldn’t eat his vegetables, and ran to hide under the bed when his mom said they should play hide and seek at night before his dad got home.

Summary
Ed looks at himself in the mirror. His eyes are puffy and red, but of course, makeup will help with all that.
He has to get through the week. Has to. No choice. His career is on the line. Of course, Ed has worked under all kinds of conditions: hungover, even still drunk in his younger, wilder days. Sick. And yes, heartbroken.
But never when the love of his life, who is also his best friend, walked out on him with no explanation twenty-four hours beforehand. He’s heard from Lucius that Stede is sorry and wants to talk to him, but that will only confuse Ed and make it harder for him to survive the week.
Ed tries to psych himself up.You’re real tough, kid, he tells his reflection in the mirror. You know how to fake it till you make it. You’re a killer, bro.
Ed can do this.

Summary
There are other things it’s hard not to notice. The shift of Ed’s muscles beneath his bare skin. The way his brow furrows at the sting of the needle. At one point, Izzy needs to brace himself to put a mark to the left of Ed’s spine. He stares at Ed’s leather-clad lower half in a panic for a moment, before resting his hand on the back of Ed’s upper thigh. Izzy grits his teeth and vows to stay professional, to focus only on what his right hand is doing with the needle, but he knows that when he’s back in his bed tonight his left hand will be tingling with the memory of how warm and strong Ed feels through the fabric.
This isn’t a punishment. It’s torture.

Summary
It really shouldn’t have been this easy. Stede’s measly crew of seven, including himself, should not have been able to even so much as board The Revenge, let alone take it for their own. Yet, here they are, just this side of a successful raid and no one except an equally pitiful skeleton crew to overthrow.
Stede and Izzy have a little chat. It goes better than you'd expect.

Summary
“I wanna stay,” he slurs, voice just on the cusp of unintelligible. His grip on Stede’s other hand tightens, and his eyes swirl wildly. “I don’t wanna go back, don’t let me go back, Stede–”
“Go back? Ed, what do you mean?”
“Don’t wanna…I wanna stay. Please. Lemme stay. Keep me…here, keep me–jus’ keep me, ‘kay?”
(OR: After the gravy basket, Ed is terrified of falling asleep. It's a fear that stays close by in the weeks that follow. A series of missing scenes from S2, BIG TIME angst with a happy, smutty ending. Because Ed deserves to be happy)
