TK hated moving.
Moving was the sign that things were changing. And TK hated change. TK loved his life in New York to a degree. Sure, the love of his life was cheating on him with his spin cycle instructor. Sure, he almost died from a drug overdose. And sure, his school life wasn’t going well. And sure, his mutant abilities blossomed and he almost killed his driving instructor that one time after he turned into a tiger. But aside from that, he loved his life. And yet here he was, in the back of his fathers Sedan with his father driving and his mom in the passenger seat.
