Nowadays, media development has many positive influences in human’s life. People have
lots of sources to get information and take entertainment such as television, radio, Internet, etc. but
nobody can deny the importance as well as the benefits of reading books.
Besides other activities such as playing sports, listening to music, watching
movies, reading is also a hobby of mine.
To be honest, when I was a kid I didn't really like reading books, if I did, it was
just reading comic, I liked watching cartoons and and other outdoor activities more.
but by the end of middle school, I am a big fan of reading, my favorite at that
time was short stories, especially the works of author Nguyen Nhat Anh.
Currently, I personally like genres related to understanding life's issues,
books about art, cinema, photography and architecture. One of my
perennial favorite is sapiens
in my view, reading books has abundance of benefits
obviously, reading books helps us widen our knowledge . As you know, books are an
endless archive of information. you don't have to go door-to-door to get knowledge
because we already have books and it's not too expensive.
Secondly, reading books helps us improve our expression ability like writing and speaking. it
gives us more vocabulary to write or speak fluently, more accurately the meaning that
we want to convey to everyone. If the book is in English, it will help you even more to
improve your English level
On top of that, it's a very great way of entertainment. You can relax after a hard-
working day by reading any books you like
Books not only help us become more clever but also bring us happiness. Therefore,
everyone should be encouraged to read books as much as possible.

FESTIVAL
If you ask me about a famous festival in Vietnam, I will definitely talk about Tet, which is
also known as Lunar New Year in Vietnam.
It usually occurs at the end of January and lasts for 3 days. Tet holiday in Vietnam is
usually in honor of the departure of the previous year and an occasion to welcome the
new year with many blessings. On Tet holiday, some families enjoy this festival by
preparing traditional food such as bánh chưng , dried candied fruit, etc. and decorating
the house with parallel sentences and peach or apricot blossoms. Especially, for
children, I think they look forward to Tet holiday because they can receive lucky money
from adults as a way to give them wishes for the new year. For adults, it is an occasion
on which they are able to do the spring cleaning and make appetizing food to worship
the ancestors.
I would say in this days and age, Tet has lost its original spirit and most adults treat it as
a normal holiday in which they can have 2 weeks off to blow off some steam and
release stress. However, to me, Tet holiday is still a distinct festival of Vietnam.
Whenever this holiday comes, I feel a strong sense of belonging because it reminds me
of how diverse our culture can be. Moreover, I think if Tet holiday didn’t exist, many
family members would drift apart due to the hustle and bustle of life. However, since we
have Tet, everyone will have at least one or two days to have family gatherings and
tighten the bonds with other members.
So I guess that’s all I want to share about Tet in Vietnam.

Advantages of public transport

Transportation is playing an important role in every nation's development process. Some people
believe that private car is the best mean of transportation but i think that public transport service
should be our main mean of transportation. 
The very first advantage of using public transportation service is that it reduced the burning of
fossil fuel. We all know that fuels like petrol and diesel take million of years to make. Therefore if
we do not decrease the usage level of these fuels we need to save these fuels as much as
possible. Since a public transportation can carry a large number of passengers it reduced the
overall fuel they use..
 
Secondly,. The more personal cars on the road, the more pollution it will generate. So if we use
bus or train , we can decrease the environmental pollutions. Thus it helps to reduce the air and
environmental pollutions
Further, transportation cost is cheaper in the case of public transportation. Another aspect is the
accident risk. In private cars, the probability of accident on road has increased dramatically. Last
but not least, public transportation increases your social contacts. Your social life will scatter
with the use of government transport service.
 
Every coin has two sides and that is true for the usage of public transportation as well. Firstly,
public buses or trains take more time to travel to some place. It does not take any shortcuts and
also runs in limited speed. On the other hand, with a private car, you can go to any place in a
very short time. Secondly, public transport service is limited. Sometime its very crowed, you
cant relax on it.

Environmental problem in VN
Today I’d like to tell you about a pressing environmental issue in my country
Vietnam.
It’s air pollution, especially in big cities where there are large volumes of
vehicles. This issue is getting more serious in recent years and has become
one of the top priorities of the Vietnamese government.

In the case of air pollution in Vietnam, the government has declared state of

alert. Thick fog turned out to be polluted air. The consequence is
very alarming: the number of respiratory cases has rocketed; a growing
number of elderly people is complaining of the worse air they breathe
in everyday.

Air pollution can cause long-term effects on humans’ nerves, brain, kidneys,
liver and other organs. Other health issues such as heart disease and lung
cancer would be worrying.

In my opinion, there are two steps that can be taken to alleviate this problem.

Firstly, public transport and eco-friendly vehicles should be encouraged, and

prices of motorcycles should be raised to discourage citizens from using them
regularly. By doing that, the amount of smoke coming from vehicles would be
greatly reduced.

Secondly, citizens should be provided with guidelines on caring for health,

particularly wearing masks on a daily basis, rinsing noses and gargle with
salt water after being exposed to exhaust emitted from vehicles’fumes.

That’s all I want to say.

Stay fit and healthy

Staying fit and healthy plays an extremely important role in our life. People care and worry
about it very much because it’s quite hard to stay fit and healthy, but there are some little things that
we can do each day in order to being healthy and fit.
Firstly, exercise is absolutely important for being fit and healthy. We should walk and cycle for few
minutes everyday , it do wonder for your your heart and lungs active ,so it’s really good for our
circulatory system .
 Furthermore, It’s a wonderful way to keep fit since it helps improve our muscles, reduce fat and also
depression, stress.
Beside, we can play sports such as swimming, soccer, volleyball, … because they can make
you stronger, taller and healthier.
This is a fantastic way to keep fit and get lean
Secondly, we should have a healthy eating habit or diet. We should eat more fresh fruits and
vegetables, reduce junk food, and fast food. Besides, We should include some sources of protein
such as poultry, fish, tofu and beans into your diet. It will help us provide enough nutrients for our
body, reduce the risk of being obese and prevent many diseases.
Each has its own perks but i lean toward playing sports
In conclusion, there are loads of ways to stay fit and healthy. We should follow those ways seriously
and take care of yourself carefully so that we can have a healthy and happy life

advantages and disadvantages of internet

The Internet is a global information system. Nowadays, the internet is popular
everywhere in the world. The Internet provides many useful utilities for users but
besides that it also has negative. I will analysis advantages and disadvantages of
Internet specifically.
The first, the Internet is a big store of information. Any kind of information on any
topic is available on the Internet. You can find it by the most popular search engines,
for example: google.com, search.com, yahoo.com, etc. Beside, you can share
information with other people around the world.
Secondly, the Internet connects many people all over the world. Stay up date with
happening in the whole world and the new technology and information. You can get
latest news of the world on the Internet. Most of the newspapers of the world are
also available on the Internet. It easier to stay in touch with your friends by chatting,
e-mail messages, forum….
 Another benefit, there are many services on internet. Such as online banking,
job seeking, purchasing tickets for your favorite movies, and hotel reservations. 
Especially entertainment, you can see movies, listen music etc… You can play
games with other people in any part of the world and there are many games for you
choose.
Online education is also popular on the internet. Many websites provide lectures,
books and documents on different subjects or topics. You can also download these
lectures into your own computer. You can listen and see these lectures repeatedly
and get a lot of knowledge.
Besides, there are also disadvantages. Children can connect to these websites
that are for adult only. They can see the information which is not good. This is
perhaps the biggest threat related to your children's healthy mental life.
 Another drawback, today, Internet is the most popular source
of spreading viruses. These viruses create different problems in your computer
.Viruses that can attack your privacy and get some information about you. It’s hard
to predict what will happen if you were hacked the account information.
 The next drawback is accuracy of information. A lot of information stored is
stored on the websites. Some information may be incorrect or not. Sometimes you
may be confused.
  Another problem is the wastage of times. A lot of time is wasted to collect the
information on the Internet. Some people waste a lot of time in chatting or to play
games.
At home and offices, many people use Internet without any positive purpose.
In conclusion, there are many advantages and disadvantages of the Internet,
Depend on you, it will be the advantages or disadvantage. You should balance study
and play. 

Online shopping
Nowadays, more and more people prefer buying something via the internet
to shopping at traditional markets or supermarkets. Nevertheless, in my opinion,
shopping online has both negative and positive aspects.
The first advantage of online shopping is that buyers save more time than other
ways of shopping. For example, to buy a motorbike, if you go to shops, you can
spend all day on asking about price and information of the product. Meanwhile, if
you surf the internet, you can get full information about the product in several
clicks; especially, it can be sent fully by the selling staff as soon as you visit their
websites. In addition, the price of product bought online is usually lower than that
of one bought in shops. There are now a great number of website supplying price
comparing functions; as a consequence, customers can choose the same
products with the best price, so they can save a large amount of not only time but
also money. Lastly, people rarely buy low- quality products if they read carefully
feedbacks from previous customers. Today, various websites public truly buyers’
comments about their goods, so customers often choose products having the
largest number of good comments.
On the other hand, people may buy low- quality products. Many online stores
usually hide bad characters of products, but they only show good sides aiming to
attract customers’ attention. For instance, once my friend visited a fashion
website in which a skirt that she was satisfied with was sold with a reasonable
price. She decided to buy it immediately; as a consequence, its length was so
short that she could not wear it when she went out. In addition, many people may
waste their money on buying unnecessary items because many shops usually
recommend customers to buy one more products through attractive
advertisements. Especially, buyers’ private information such as .
Consequently, their money in bank account can be stolen or their private lives
can be annoyed.
Indeed, buying in the online shops has many benefits such as saving time,
getting lower prices and receiving high-quality product from reputable stores.
Nevertheless, this buying style have some disadvantages, and to avoid these
negative points, customers should find out carefully products, stores and
payment methods.

Mobile phone
Mobile phone is a good technology which is not lacking from our lives. This report will
discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phones.

Today, mobile phone has become popular to everybody since it is very convenient. The most
advantage of having a mobile phone is you can communicate to your family and your friends no
matter what where you are. For instance, you can contact easily to your friends by calling or
sending messages everywhere without electricity. It is maybe the main reason why almost all
people today choose to own a mobile phone. From the customer’s point of view, it is obvious
that mobile phones assist you in business a lot, such as, make schedule of working, surf the
internet, and keep in touch with their companies. Moreover, you can relax with mobile phone’s
applications, for example, play games, listen to music, or chat with your friends.

On the other hand, there are also disadvantages. Using a lot mobile phone can harm your brain,
particularly teenager and children who are under 16 years old. If you use mobile phones too
much, you will get bad effects like dizzy, blood-brain barrier, or ears problems. In addition, when
you use mobile phones while you are driving, you will get an accident. It is essential not good
for you and others. Moreover, “radiations emitted from the phone are dead harmful for the
eardrum”, has proved by many scientist.

Owning a mobile phone in your hand is you can solve many issues and hold most of information
around the world. Even though is not good for your health and you have to protect yourself
from bad effects of mobile phones if you choose to have one.
