I'm going to say this upfront: Crystal Mirror is the exact type of slot that I hate. It looks bland, is not particularly feature-rich, and it revolves around royal crowns. Let's be honest: the only cool crown is the one you get from Burger King when you order a Kid's Meal. Anything else is gaudy and lame. Still, Red Tiger is letting you try to fill the role of a royal with their game, and you can possibly chip into their fortune to pocket some of your own.

Crystal Mirror is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot that is set on the royal velvet of some gaudy throne. Symbols are a combination of low-payers, which include gem-riddled versions of hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs as well as high-payers like a simple gold crown, a gold crown with emeralds, a crown with giant blue sapphire, a crown with red ruby, and a queen crown with a giant diamond.

The game's features include wilds, stacked wilds (a giant purple gem), scatters, free spins, and mirrored reels that take place on every spin. This latter feature is just about the only distinctive thing about this game. What happens is that on every spin, the first three reels are mirrored with the last three - i.e. reels 1 and 6 are identical, as are 2 and 5, and 3 and 4. The game is gaudy in gold and looks like something you'd find in Donald Trump's bathroom. The slot's layout and feature set give the game a theoretical return to player percentage (RTP) of 95.8%, which is just about what you'd expect from a Red Tiger Game.

Crystal Mirror is a dull affair, and frankly I didn't enjoy it at all. The game has built-in mobile support, so you can play it on your phone or tablet if you want. Doing this doesn't make the game any better though, and you'll quickly become bored by the lack of action on the reels.

I suspect this game isn't the type of deal that's made for me, and there may be some people that like this theme. If you're one of them, go for it! If you're not, there are much better slots for you to play.
