About Inferno Star

When it comes to generic slots that could have been cool, Play'n Go's Inferno Star slot takes the cake. The game manages to take the idea of a burning star and makes it lame, with generic slot icons and boring features that you can find anywhere else. Can I make a case for you playing this game? No I can't because there's no other way to say this: it sucks.

Inferno Star is a 5 reel, 5 payline video slot set in front of a giant star that is radiating heat and death. Rather nonsensically though, the game's slot icons are not celestial or space themed, but the standard icons you see on games that are 20 years old. You'll find apples, plums, lemons, grapes, cherries, and a star. While the art is crisp, these icons are boring. The only symbol with any life to it is the burning star, which has a bit of animation.

There are only two features in this game. There's Raging Sun Re-Spins, which is set off when a player is able to spin a star on the third reel. This gives players a chance to score an extra win, but is pretty underwhelming when all things are considered. The other "feature" is just a gamble feature, which lets you put your winnings at risk for a chance to double or quadruple them.

Inferno Star can be played on both desktop and mobile devices, and the game does look sharp on whatever device you choose to play on. Does this make up for the fact that this game is as plain as non-flavoured oatmeal? Nope. Play'n Go is a capable developer that has released a bunch of great slots, but this game appears to be pure filler churned out on a bored worker's lunch break in an effort to meet some PHB's quota. I really think this may be the game I hate the most from this developer, and you're bound to find much more entertainment playing just about anything else.

In short I would describe this game as Play'n Go version of Starburst. The game has nice design and the payouts are average, I have had a few wins near to 100x bet, but nothing more that that. However, the reason I do enjoy it is because it gives frequent small winnings so it's a great game for wagering.

This slot is a direct way to zero if you play it longer than some spins. If I hit nice win thats it. Another good win will be after few years:) And good I mean even 20 x bet. My biggest win was 100 x bet and it happened when I was playing for the first time.
