About Neon Life
Ash Gaming is trying to get you to come to the big time with their new Neon Reels slot, which takes place in Sin City and pitches a classic Las Vegas theme complete with neon signs. Unfortunately, what we're handed is a bland game that really doesn't do anything particularly well.
Neon Life is a 5 reel, 243 ways to win video slot that takes place in old Las Vegas, and includes card symbols like Jack, Queen, King, and Ace, as well as fluorescent flamingos, martini glasses, cars, legs, and poker hand. The game's features include cascading wins, sticky wins, and free spins when you land five or more scatters on the reels.
The game is a pretty lame affair when you get down to it, as the presentation and feature set aren't fantastic, despite having the popular cascading wins mechanic employed by other popular slots such as Gonzo's Quest from Net Entertainment. Cascading wins means that when you spin up a winning payline, the winning symbols are held while all other non-winning symbols are removed from the reels. The winners fall to the bottom of their reels and new symbols cascade down from the top of the reels to fill the empty spaces, which gives you a chance to win again. The cascading keeps happening so long as you get at least one new symbol matching your other winners. In this way you can end up filling the reels with one symbol for some mega wins.
There is a free spins round on offer in Neon Life, and it is triggered by landing five or more scatter symbols on one spin. During the free spins round you can increase a win multiplier up to a maximum of 5x your initial wager by cascading wins. I didn't really have much luck with the free round though, and found myself quickly looking to just close the game out and move on with my life.
I can't say that I recommend this game to you. It looks like the developer did the bare minimum to crank out a new game, and despite the cascading wins feature it isn't much fun to play. Of course your opinion may vary, so let me know in the comments section below.

I am quite a fan when it comes to anything neon themed. I also really enjoy the looks of this game, the colors look really nice. I have tried this game so far only for free play so it's hard to judge the payouts but I will be playing it again for real soon.
The game has a not so usual look but honestly I don't think it's so interesting. There's too many dead or low returning spins which always benefit the house, not too impressed.
I'm confused by this game. On the one hand it has been hit hard with the ugly stick. It looks like it was designed by a junior trainee who was doing work experience at Playtech for a week. On the other hand I always like the slots with this "sticky win" mechanism as you get a lot of re-spins and opportunities to fill up the reels with the same symbol. So its kind of nice but I think there are better examples of this type of game out there like The Wild Chase (Quickspin) or Jack Hammer 1 & 2 (Net Ent).

I can't take this game. With games like Jack Hammer, I have no reason to play a game that's uglier than my brother's ex-wife. The scatter symbols spinning was torture, and hitting a big win makes you sit through and watch it tally up. Awful.

I think obviously we could all agreed on one thing - it's ugly 🙂
and that should lower down your rate more than one star Ed 😉
Agreed. I was tossing up between 3 and 4 stars but in hindsight I was far too generous.

I tried once playing neon life for getting information from some friends about the resemblance to the king of slots from netent, but a little disappointed because I think not so similar to the king of slots but a fusion with gonzo's quest Also, and I do not fit this game, I will say good only if I am victorious
Nice looking, solid game and feels vegas for sure. Also small winnings are frequent enough and its fun to play it. Biggest win in my history i think is around 300 x bet.
