Desert Nights Casino - Verification Documents Issue

3 replies • Last post

Customer Review Rewrite:

My experience with Desert Knight Casino has been frustrating. Despite multiple submissions of requested documents, I continue to receive emails requesting additional information.

Even though I've provided everything asked for, they imply I'm not cooperating. For instance, my proof of address, an electric bill, was rejected because a very tiny corner was accidentally cropped off. It's so small that you don't even see it unless you magnify The picture 100x! It's frustrating that such a minor detail led to my withdrawal being denied.

When I submitted my credit card statement as an alternative, they claimed not to have received it, despite me sending it twice. Additionally, after providing my photo ID next to my face, multiple times, they still insisted on a passport copy, so I submitted it. Now they're asking for me to send it again, this time it needs to be held next to my face.

All of my photo IDs, drivers license, utility bill, credit card statements, are consistently accurate with my current address. There is no reason for them to not verify who I am.

My winnings are from a 50 free spins bonus. I met the playthrough requirements, and I deposited $50 even though the requirements are for $25. The maximum withdrawal is $180. I'm only requesting $169.

I've gone above and beyond giving them everything that they need to verify my identity, and I'm getting the runaround. They continue acting as if I'm not complying.

Why offer bonuses if they have no intentions of paying them out anyway?

Where do we stand legally?

Is there anything we can do to force them to comply with the laws and their policies?

Surely there's enough of us here that we can get a class action lawsuit against them and get them to pay out or shut them down.

Hey Shane, congrats on the win. Pity that it's taking so long to get your money. I've had times before where my documents somehow "didn't" go through, and it's frustrating getting them to be accepted. Hang in there and it should play out. Desert Nights isn't a great casino, but it is a legit one. You should be able to get your money from them.

In terms of legalities and enforcing, that's going to be tough. I don't know what state you live in, but if it's not one of the seven that have regulated online casinos, you have to play at a site like Desert Nights, which has a Curacao license. These types of licenses are basically worthless and there's not going to be anything you can do to hold their feet to the fire, other than coming to a site like this to complain and give them bad press.

If you do live in a state with regulated iGaming, I'd highly suggest you play there. Sites like FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM all operate in this space and you get your winnings in timeframes of a few minutes to a day or so.

Thanks for the encouraging words barbadosslim93, but they said I didn't pass their security checks and they kept my deposit, blocked my email so I can't respond, closed my account and said that if I was a member at their sister casinos, they would close those accounts as well.

They wouldn't tell me why I failed their security check and I have no way of finding out. I gave my passport, my drivers license, credit card statements, bank statements, electric bill, I sent them a copy of my lease..., everything had the exact same address on it, same photo, etc. There's absolutely no reason to be denied. I use the same documents for other casinos and have had zero issues with any of them.

They were rude to me throughout the entire process, active as if I wasn't complying when I did everything they asked me to do. I honestly have no idea why I received that type of treatment. The only thing I can think of is at my address is in in Indiana and I happen to be in Texas at the moment on my father's property where I've been for the last four months ...he was ill so I came down here to take care of him and he passed away a few weeks ago. I'm still here but plan on going back back home soon.

Interesting. That sucks to here Shanechicago. Sorry about your dad. Unfortunately with the unregulated casinos, there's not much you can do to hold them accountable. I'd recommend you wait to get home to play at a different casino brand.
