No idea about the email but as for the playthrough being so high it is simple. The casino does not want you to win from the free spins. The longer you play the more likely you are to lose more than you win due to the house edge on all the games. So they offer free spins and other bonuses to entice people to play, but jack up the playthrough to put the maths back in their favour.

Yep, what Ed said. The casino doesn't want you to cash out so they're going to make it near impossible for you to walk away with anything. Don't even waste your time when the playthrough on the bonus is absurdly high.
