Casinos discriminating against players that use responsible gambling controls

4 replies • Last post

I have long suspected that some casinos are not happy that players are able to use controls that limit their wagering on their sites. Of course there are loads of unregulated casinos that don't provide any kind of protection for players. But today while updating some casino data I came across a new low: a casino that provides responsible gambling controls like deposit and/or wager limits, temporary self exclusion etc, but then penalises anyone who uses them by lowering their monthly payout limit from $30,000 per month to only $1000 per month.

Have a read of this:

Quote:
7.13 For players with an active self-exclusion period or active account restriction (maximum loss, wager amount, deposit and maximum bet amount) the maximum withdrawal limit is 1,000 CAD (or the equivalent) a month. This limit will also apply to inactive accounts. An account is considered inactive when not being used for making deposits, playing or making bets, or when it's inactive due to any other reasons, during 1 month.

They are also trying to penalise anyone who has not played during the last month when they try to withdraw their balance.

The casino is SlotJoint. What a foul rule.

It's a contradiction, providing responsible game controls but penalizing players who uses them. I think we should avoid this casino which is not honest.

Terrible. Shame on them. Looks like Curacao licensed casinos can get away with murder.

Oh wow, thanks for sharing this Ed, for a long time they were my favourite casino. Haven't played there for quite some time now. I personally use RG tools for deposit limits so I think it's crazy to restrict people who use limits.
