Massive €8.6 million win on Arabian Nights at Paf Casino

You know what would truly suck - if you hit it a split second before the meter had a chance to refresh on your game. You would think you had won €8.6 million but instead you get whatever it resets to (€900k or something).

A player in Finland has won 8.65 million euros on the slot machine Arabian Nights at Åland based Paf. It is a new Finnish record for online gaming – and the second largest in the world.

It was early Friday evening and the Paf player from the Helsinki region who had bet 5 euros could hardly believe his eyes when he looked at his gaming account. A win of 8.65 million euros, could it be true?
“Me and my wife shouted and hugged each other in joy for five minutes. I could not believe it was for real,” says the Paf winner. “I restarted the computer, and sure enough, the same unbelievable amount was still in my account.”

The win is the largest online gaming jackpot in Finland ever, and the second largest in the world.

The record breaker on Arabian Nights was a little dazed after the win, but at Paf's advice will refrain from playing for a while. Here's what the winner had to say about the future:

“I've been working a lot lately, so now I'll focus on my family and children, cut down on work and think about what quality of life really involves.”

After news of the win, he chose to continue an unforgettable Friday night with a sauna to collect his thoughts.

Paf winners receive advice

Every time a Paf customer wins a large sum of money, the gaming company does its best to give them support and advice in their new situation.

The world record for online gaming is just over 11.7 million euros and was also won on the Mega Fortune slot machine.
