Review of Moon Games

I have always enjoyed checking out casinos that offer a unique set of games and features. When I first visited the UK and Gibraltar licensed Moon Games, I was quote impressed by the attractive design and apparent simplicity of the casino. What I ultimately ended up finding though was a casino that could use a lot of improvements before it can be classed as a must-play casino.

Software and game selection

Moon Games operates using the Broadway Gaming platform (aka Dragonfish) which means that it is more or less a "white label" version of the well known 888 Casino. Everything that takes place in the casino occurs via your web browser, including registration, banking, support, and gameplay, and no software installation is required. The whole process of setting up an account is very simple, taking just three steps and a few minutes of your time. If you are a punter who likes to play on your tablet or smartphone, Moon Games has an app available on the Apple App Store and a mobile site for those on the Android platform.

The focus at Moon Games is on slots and you will accordingly find a load of video slots, a decent selection of classic slots, and nine progressive games including the well known Millionaire Genie jackpot. The primary game suppliers include Net Entertainment, IGT, WMS, and 888's in house software, Random Logic. While the first three in particular are some of the top game developers in the world today, I was disappointed to see that Moon Games only offers a small number of hand picked games from each supplier, rather than a complete collection like most other similar casinos. Nor do they offer the popular Net Entertainment and IGT progressive jackpot games. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for the games they have picked. For example you can play Raging Rhino, Lunaris, Zeus III, and Bruce Lee from WMS, but not Kiss, Bier Haus, or any of the Star Trek slots. The games that are there are generally great, but I was left wanting more.

If you're like me and you like to also work the tables when you play, then you're going to be disappointed as there is only a handful of table games, along with a couple of keno and scratch card games. There is one version of Blackjack, a game of Caribbean Stud, and a few different roulette games including a live version that is broadcast from studios run by Net Entertainment.

The website is attractively designed and the layout is the usual grid format that we're all familiar with now, but the site is lacking the ability to search for specific games. While this may not seem like a big deal, the casino has so many slots in particular that it makes the process of finding a specific game tedious. I had the situation arise where I was looking for a certain game and ended up passing it as I scrolled, and was frustrated to see it was in the upper third of games after I had gone all the way down to the bottom. Lesson learned: you have to go to the "all games" page then use your browser's in built text search function.

Banking and Customer Support

Banking at Moon Games Casino is a bit of a disappointment, with the casino implementing a 48 hour pending period on all withdrawals, during which you may reverse and cancel your cashout. Payment completion time then takes at least another couple of days after that (varying with the method requested), meaning that most payment times will run at least 4-5 days to complete. This is slower than most of the best European casino sites, and if Moon Games wants to compete they really need to work on reducing these wait times.

The site also has some very low withdrawal limits, with the maximum amount they will pay set at £3000 per day, £5000 per week, and only £10,000 per month. It also reserves the right to pay out progressive jackpot wins that are greater than £20,000 over a 24 month period of instalment payments. Again, this is poor compared to the top echelon of competing casinos.

Customer support at Moon Games Casino is available through live text chat, email, and telephone. The staff is available 24/7 and seems to be generally knowledgeable in regards to casino bonuses and games. I hopped onto the live chat and asked whether the payment limits could be increased from their small defaults and was told that this would have to be negotiated with management after they had assessed my play. Translation: if you are a big depositor who doesn't win much, they may increase the limits.

Security, fairness, and responsible gaming

Moon Games Casino secures transmissions both to and from the casino by utilising standard SSL encryption. The random number generators used by the games at the casino are certified by their suppliers to be fair. The casino features an icon at the footer of each page proclaiming "95% real payout". However apart from a minority of the games that provide their theoretical RTP numbers in game, I could find no proof or published payout audits to validate this number. As an aside, the icon is quite close to another icon that says "fast payouts" which should also be taken with a grain of salt.

On the responsible gaming side of things, Moon Games allows players to limit their deposits over a monthly period. It also provides information and help to identify problem gaming behavior while also providing contact details for players who need some assistance in handling an issue with their betting.

Conclusion

Moon Games Casino offers punters a good selection of slot games, albeit with the caveat that your favourite game could very well be unavailable due to the restricted choice of games from the top suppliers. However it has a number of rough edges, such as the withdrawal speed and restrictions, that really need to be smoothed out before this casino can be competitive with the many slick casino operators that exist today.

Moon Games casino.
They offer a wide variety of different good gaming providers such as , netent, wms, igt.
all put in an excellent casino, where you will experience lot of great fun and entertaining.
there are also some small bad points, they don't offer Netent Jackpot games, pretty sad. there customer support is really good and, includes very friendly and well informed customer service agents live chat is open 07;00-01;00GMT. they are operated by Cassava Enterprises Ltd which is providing more well known casino's such as 888 casino. they also offering a very nice and fast working mobile casino! You can grab a 130% first deposit bonus which come's with a wagering of 30 times. withdrawals are processed mostly in 48-72 hours that was atleast the timeframe i got it in;) Very good and fun casino to try! Moon games delivered and still offering an very good casino.
