Betting group Betsafe has been found to be in violation of Lithuania's gambling laws, but the company was able to avoid any penalty from the Lithuanian Gambling Supervision Service.
Betsafe, through operator Lošimų Strateginė Grupė UAB was found to have ben offering the Sic Bo game by Ezugi, even though they didn't hold the proper certificate. The Sic Bo game was found to not be allowed due to the country's gambling rules, and therefore Betsafe was foudn to be in violation due to paying out winnings to a player that was participating in the live dealer game.
The regulator found that Betsafe cooperated with the investigation and provided rational explanations for the breach. LGSS found that the breaches were "minor violations" and found that since the Betsson-owned company hadn't been fined for similar offences in the past, and that no penalties were required in the case.
Betsafe can appeal the decision if it wants, but that would be nonsensical, given the lack of penalty imposed.
Lithuania has been harsh in dishing out penalties to other betting companies in the past, namely Top Sport, which has been issued numerous fines in the past year.

This goes to show that if you act in good faith and don't repeatedly mess up (cough, Top Sport, cough) that this regulator will be willing to work with you.
