Aztec's Millions Jackpot Struck for $4,420,568

This story was published more than 3 years ago.

For the first time since we began tracking it in 2009, Realtime Gaming's Aztec's Millions jackpot has been hit for a huge $4,420,568 prize.

The win is a rarity for RTG, whose large progressive jackpots are notorious for taking forever to be won. We first started following this jackpot in December 2009, and it took almost twelve years to be hit. The jackpot grows with every spin of the reels and it is won when you get five Aztec's Millions slot symbols to line up on a single payline.

We're awaiting a press release from the casino that hosted the win, and we'll be updating readers if those details on the win are released.

I can't believe it actually hit. Anyone wanna bet the winner was playing with a max cashout bonus and can only get a few hundred. 😉

Even worse, imagine if they get it cleared to withdraw and the site has a max withdrawal of $2,000 per week!

That would be bad but imagine being the person who recently missed out on a £182 M lotto win - the numbers she'd been playing for the last 5 weeks came up but it turns out she didn't have enough money in her bank account so the lotto ticket wasn't actually purchased!!

Anyone else find it kinda odd that there's still no news on this that I can find? With a hit this rare and big, it seems like any of the RTG casinos would be clamoring to get a release out for the publicity.

Really makes me wonder if it legitimately got hit or not.

Maybe, but if the player is likely to be in a jurisdiction that frowns upon online gambling they would be trying to keep things hush hush for both the player's and casino's sakes. I just hope it was won at one of the few decent RTG casinos. The odds aren't great.

So I've made some enquiries and have been told that it was won at a casino that is part of the wider Intertops group. I don't know specifically which one it was though. But that is good news for the player at least.

Good to hear. Better there than a rogue group.

Well I then wonder if whoever won it was technically ineligible (playing with a no-deposit bonus/max cashout limit) because again, for the largest jackpot presumably in RTG history to be won, it's bewildering the casino (or RTG) isn't publicizing it.

This still seems fishy to me.
