Over the weekend a punter got a huge thrill when they hit the Funky Fruits Jackpot for a huge $904,268 cash prize, no doubt feeling sweeter than the cherries needed to win the prize.

We are still awaiting details on the big win, but we can confirm that the jackpot was hit, and is the 13th time that the jackpot has been won since it launched in May 2014. The prize pays out $1,742,170 on average, and the jackpot is struck every 11 weeks on average. The game's smallest prize payout occurred just 12 weeks ago when a player won $653,357 while playing the game.

The Funky Fruits Jackpot is won when players are able to unveil 8 or more cherry symbols while playing the reactor style game. The game itself sees wins doled out when players are able to string together combinations of the fruit, which then disappear and are replaced by cascading pieces.
