テープガイド31c(50)は、主として図4~図6に示すように、上板部51、第1側板部52および第2側板部53を備えている。上板部51の一側(例えば右側)には、第1側板部52の上端が接続されており、上板部51の他の一側(例えば左側)には、第2側板部53の上端が接続されている。テープガイド31cは、図6にて先端部側から見ると下向きに開口したほぼU字状に形成されている。
このように、押さえ部材31gの係合爪31g1が係合孔52cおよび係合孔53cの下端に当接した状態で、テープガイド31cは、スプリング31i(図7参照)の付勢力によって本体31aの上面に向けて押圧されている。

部品実装機10には、廃棄テープ処理ユニット(図示省略)が設けられている。廃棄テープ処理ユニットは、テープフィーダ31から排出される廃棄テープ35を回収して処理するものである。この廃棄テープ処理ユニットは、テープフィーダ31から排出される廃棄テープ35を回収して排出する廃棄用ガイド部材71を備えている。廃棄用ガイド部材71は、ダクト状、管状に形成されている。

前記本体および前記テープガイドとは別部材で構成されるとともに、前記本体に着脱可能に取り付けられた先端部ガイドを備えたテープフィーダ。 - 前記先端部ガイドは、前記部品吸着位置にて前記電子部品が取り出された後の前記キャリアテープである廃棄テープを、前記テープガイドの下面と同一平面より下方に向けて案内するガイド部が設けられている請求項1のテープフィーダ。
- 前記部品実装機は、前記廃棄テープを回収して排出する廃棄用ガイド部材をさらに備え、
前記テープフィーダが前記部品実装機に装着されている場合に、
少なくとも前記ガイド部の下端は、前記廃棄用ガイド部材の入口内に位置しており、
