Abstract
Description
図1に、現金自動預払機(以下、これをATMとも呼ぶ)1の全体構成の概略を示す。
次に、図2を用いて、紙幣入出金機4の内部構成について説明する。
[3-1.入金取引時の紙幣の計数]
次に、紙幣入出金機4の入金取引時及び出金取引時の動作について説明する。尚、この動作は、主として制御部10の制御のもとに行われる動作である。ここではまず、図3を用いて、入金取引時の紙幣の計数について説明する。
その後、入金計数結果を確認した利用者により、操作表示部6を介して入金取引を確定する旨の指示がなされると、紙幣入出金機4は、入金取引を確定すると共に入金された紙幣の収納を行う。ここで、図4を用いて、入金取引確定後の紙幣の収納について説明する。
次に、図5を用いて、出金取引時の紙幣の出金について説明する。
次に、入金取引時及び出金取引時の紙幣の取り込みについて説明する。まず、取り忘れ紙幣の取り込みについて説明する。
次に、入金取引時に、利用者により入金の取り消しが指示された場合の紙幣の返却について説明する。
ここまで説明したように、紙幣入出金機4の制御部10は、一時保留部22に収納される前段で行われた鑑別部21による紙幣の鑑別結果を、鑑別結果情報として記憶する。
[5-1.他の実施の形態1]
尚、上述した実施の形態では、紙幣入出金機4の上部筐体12に1つのリジェクト庫23を設け、下部筐体13に1つのリジェクト庫30を設けるようにした。
また、上述した実施の形態では、紙幣入出金機4の上部筐体12の一時保留部22の下にリジェクト庫23を設けると共に、下部筐体13の紙幣貯蔵部28の後部にリジェクト庫30を設けるようにした。
また、上述した実施の形態では、下部筐体13の紙幣貯蔵部28を、複数の縦長の紙幣収納庫29(29a~29e)を横方向(前後方向)に配置する所謂横置型の紙幣貯蔵部とした。
さらに、上述した実施の形態では、本発明を、ATM1に設けられた紙幣入出金機4に適用したが、本発明は、これに限らず、正常な紙幣とは隔離して収納すべき紙幣を、一時保留部からその収納先に搬送して収納する装置であれば、この他種々の装置に適用することができる。
さらに、本発明は、上述した実施の形態と、上述した他の実施の形態とに限定されるものではない。すなわち本発明は、上述した実施の形態と上述した他の実施の形態の一部または全部を任意に組み合わせた実施の形態や、一部を抽出した実施の形態にもその適用範囲が及ぶものである。
Claims (12)
- 紙幣を鑑別する鑑別部と、
上記鑑別部により鑑別された紙幣を一時的に収納する一時保留部と、
紙幣を収納する複数の紙幣収納庫と、
上記鑑別部、上記一時保留部及び上記複数の紙幣収納庫を繋ぐ搬送路と
を有し、
上記一時保留部に収納されている紙幣を繰り出して上記複数の紙幣収納庫へ収納するとき、上記鑑別部による紙幣の鑑別結果をもとに、当該紙幣を、上記一時保留部から上記鑑別部を介して上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちのいずれかの紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する、又は上記一時保留部から上記鑑別部を介さない経路で、上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの特定の紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
紙幣処理装置。 - 上記特定の紙幣収納庫は、
上記一時保留部に隣接して配置されている
請求項1に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記一時保留部に収納されている紙幣を複数の紙幣収納庫へ収納するとき、鑑別部による紙幣の鑑別結果をもとに、正常な紙幣と判別された紙幣については、一時保留部から鑑別部を介して複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの正常な紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する一方、正常な紙幣とは隔離して収納すべき紙幣と判別された紙幣については、一時保留部から鑑別部を介さない経路で、複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの正常な紙幣とは隔離して収納すべき紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記一時保留部は、入金取引時に入出金口部から投入された紙幣を一時的に収納し、
入金確定後、上記入金された紙幣を上記一時保留部から繰り出して上記複数の紙幣収納庫へ収納するとき、上記鑑別部による紙幣の鑑別結果をもとに、出金に再利用可能な紙幣と判別された紙幣については、上記一時保留部から上記鑑別部を介して上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの出金に利用する紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する一方、出金に再利用不可能な紙幣と判別された紙幣については、上記一時保留部から上記鑑別部を介さない経路で、上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの出金に再利用不可能な紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記一時保留部は、入出金口部に残された取り忘れ紙幣を一時的に収納し、
上記取り忘れ紙幣については、上記一時保留部から繰り出した後、上記鑑別部を介さない経路で、上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの取り忘れ紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記一時保留部は、出金取引時に上記鑑別部により出金に適さない紙幣と判別された出金リジェクト紙幣を一時的に収納し、
上記出金リジェクト紙幣については、上記一時保留部から繰り出した後、上記鑑別部を介さない経路で、上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの出金リジェクト紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記一時保留部は、入金取引時に入出金口部から投入された紙幣を一時的に収納し、
入金確定前に入金が取り消されて、上記一時保留部に収納されている紙幣を上記入出金口部に戻して返却するとき、上記鑑別部による紙幣の鑑別結果をもとに、返却不可能な紙幣を判別された紙幣については、上記一時保留部から上記鑑別部を介さない経路で、上記複数の紙幣収納庫のうちの返却不可能な紙幣を収納するよう設定されている紙幣収納庫へと搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 制御部と、

上記制御部は、
上記鑑別部による紙幣の鑑別結果を示す鑑別結果情報を上記メモリ部に保存し、上記一時保留部に収納されている紙幣を繰り出して上記複数の紙幣収納庫へ収納するとき、上記メモリ部に保存されている鑑別結果情報を参照することで、上記一時保留部から繰り出す紙幣のそれぞれが正常な紙幣か正常な紙幣とは隔離して収納すべき紙幣かを判別する

上記一時保留部から繰り出す紙幣のうち、鑑別結果が偽札である紙幣を上記正常な紙幣とは隔離して収納すべき紙幣と判別する
請求項8に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記特定の紙幣収納庫が上下に2個隣接して配置され、
当該2個の紙幣収納庫のうちの上側の紙幣収納庫が満杯になったら、下側の紙幣収納庫に紙幣を搬送して収納する
請求項2に記載の紙幣処理装置。 - 上記特定の紙幣収納庫は、金庫筐体に配置され、
上記一時保留部は、上記金庫筐体の上側に位置する上部筐体に配置され、
上記搬送路は、上記鑑別部を介さない経路として、上記上部筐体に配置された上記一時保留部と上記金庫筐体に配置された上記特定の紙幣収納庫とを繋ぐ経路を有し、当該経路で、上記一時保留部から上記特定の紙幣収納庫へと紙幣を搬送して収納する
