吸 盤
産業上の利用分野
本発明は例えばマスキング材の取付け取りはずしに用 いられる吸盤に関するものである。
従来の技術
本発明者等は先に吸盤によってマスキング材を吸着す ることにより、 該マスキング材をマスキング個所に取付 けたり取りはずしたりする方法を提案した (特願平 1 一 2 9 1 9 6 1号) 。
この方法は該吸盤に導気管を接続してマスキング材を 真空吸着し、 更に該導気管から空気を送通してマスキン グ材を吸盤から離脱させるものである。
しかしながら例えば第 7図に示すようにマスキング材 (1)表面にポリ塩化ビニルゾルのような流動性のある塗 膜(2)が付着している場合、 吸盤(3)により導気管(4)を 介して該マスキング材(1)を真空吸着する時に吸盤(3)が 変形して該マスキング材(1)の吸着面に密着し、 該塗膜 (2)が吸盤(3)内で詰まって吸盤(3)によるマスキング材 (1)の吸着が困難になる。
このような不具合はマスキング材の吸盤による自動取 付け取りはずしに大きな支障となる。 発明の開示
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するための手段として、 弾性材料からなりラツバ形状をなす吸盤本体(31)の中央 部には導気管(4)が接続される導気口(32)を設け、 該吸 盤本体(31)の導気口(32)の周囲には導入溝(34)を有する 補強部(35)を設けた吸盤(3)を提供するものである。
吸盤の導気口(32)に導気管(4)を接続して該導気管(4) を介して吸盤(3)内を真空にすることによって被吸着材 (1)を吸盤(3)に吸着する。 この際吸盤本体(31)の導気口 (32)周囲は補強部(35)によって補強されているので変形 せず、 被吸着材(1)の吸着面に当接しない。 そして被吸 着材(1)の吸着面に付着している流動性塗膜(2)は該補強 部(35)の導入溝(34)から導気口(32)を介して導気管(4) 内へ円滑に吸引除去される。
したがって本発明においては被吸着材を吸盤で吸着す る際、 被吸着材の吸着面に流動性塗膜が付着していても、 該塗膜が吸盤内で詰まることなく、 吸盤による被吸着材 の吸着が支障なく円滑に行われるので、 例えば本発明の 吸盤は、 マスキング材の自動取付け取りはずしに極めて 有用である。

発明の詳細な説明
本発明を第 1図〜第 3図に示す一実施例によって説明 すれば、 吸盤(3)はラッパ形状の吸盤本体(31)と、 該吸 盤本体(31)の中央部に設けられる導気口(32)と、 該導気 口(32)の周面には該吸盤本体(31)周縁に向かって放射状 に設けられる複数個のリブ(33)と、 該リブ(33)間に形成 される導入溝(34)とからなる補強部(35)が設けられてい る Ο
該吸盤本体(31)はゴム、 プラスチック等の弾性材料か らなる。
上記吸盤(3)は第 3図に示すように導気口(32)を介し て導気管(4)の先端に接続される。 そして部材(5)のマス キング個所(51)に、 ポリスチレン、 ポリエチレン、 ポリ プロピレン、 ポリウレタン等のプラスチックの発泡体か らなる本体(11)と粘着層(12)とからなるマスキング材(1) を該粘着層(12)を介して取付け、 例えばポリ塩化ビニル ゾル、 タールウレタン等の表面被覆材を塗装して塗膜(2) を該部材(5)の表面に形成する。 該部材(5)のマスキング 個所(51)はマスキング材(1)により保護されているので 該塗膜(2)は形成されず、 マスキング材(1)の背面に塗膜
(2)が付着する。
導気管(4)を真空ポンプ等の真空手段に接続して吸盤
(3)内を真空にして、 該部材(5)を塗装した後に該マスキ ング材(1)の背面に該吸盤(3)を当接し、 該吸盤(3)に該 マスキング材(1)を吸着する。 この際、 補強部(35)のリ ブ(33)による補強効果によって吸盤本体(31)は変形を防 止され、 第 7図に示すようにマスキング材(1)の吸着面 (13)に密着しない。 そしてマスキング材(1)の背面に付 着している塗膜(2)は流動して導入溝(34)から導気管(4) 内に吸引され除去されるから、 該塗膜(2)が吸盤(3)内に 詰まることはない。 なお導気管(4)内に吸引された塗膜 (2)は導気管(4)中間に設けられるトラップ (図示せず) 内に回収される。
第 4図には本発明の他の実施例が示される。 本実施例 では吸盤(3)Aの本体(31)Aの導気口(32)Aの周囲には、 肉 厚部(33)Aと該肉厚部(33)A内に放射状に設けられた導入 溝(34) Aとからなる補強部(35) Aが設けられている。
本発明の吸盤(3)が適用されるマスキング材は本実施 例のマスキング材(1)以外、 例えば第 5図に示すように 部材(5)の孔部(51)Aをマスキングする栓状のマスキング 材(1)A、 第 6図に示すように部材(5)の凸部(51)Βをマス キングする嵌着孔(11)Βを有するマスキング材(1)Β等種 々な形状のものがあるし、 また本発明の吸盤はマスキン グ材以外、 種々な部材の吸着に用いられる。 なお、 本発 明の吸盤を移動させるにはロボッ トを用いることが好ま しい。
