DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,041, dated July 31, 1900.

Application filed July 5,1900. Serial No. 22,643. Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, THOMAS E. KENNEDY and EDWARD J. KING, citizens of the United States,residin g in the city of Rochester,county of Monroe, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Cooking-Stove; and We do hereby leolare the following to be a full, clear, and

exact description of the same, in connection with the. accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Our design relates to cooking-stoves; and it consists of the shape, configuration, and ornamentation as shown in perspective in the accompanying drawing.

The base of the stove (indicated by A) is somewhat rounded at the top and provided with the scrolland leaf ornamentation shown, and at the corners are arranged the legs B.

C indicates the end door of 'the ash-pit, provided with the scroll ornamentation shown, and D the oven-shelf, having the plain band or edge and the ornamented top, and above this shelf is the oven-door E, having the scroll and leaf ornamentation at the top and sides and the central ornamental panel F, the space between said panel and the ornamental sides being somewhat rounded and comparatively smooth.

Gr indicates the reservoir-panel, having the irregular lower edge and the scroll and leaf ornamentation thereon and the central panel H, provided with the fluted edges, as shown.

J indicates the fire-pot door, having the scroll and leaf ornamentation and the central rounded panel K.

L indicates the hearth at the end of the stove, provided with the smooth rail L. At the edge and above this is the front ash-pit door M, ornamented as shown.

N indicates the inclined feed-door at the end of the stove, having the draft-openings therein and the surface ornamentation, as shown.

The upper section of the stove embodies the central portion O, provided with the ornamen tal panel P and the scroll and leaf ornamentation above and below it. The side wings Q of the upper section are provided with the scroll and leaf ornamentation in relief and at their outer sides with small shelves R.

S indicates the top shelf, and above this is arranged the top rail or plate T, having'the scroll and leaf ornamentation in relief, as shown.

The stove as a Whole presents a very handsome appearance,the ornamentation of the variousparts being harmonious and consistent.

We claim- The design for a cooking-stove substantially as herein shown and described.
