Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate for voltage flactuation by the use of a constant-voltage power supply unit consisting of the first transformer and the second transformer wherein the latter is connected to the secondary winding of the former via a switching device, allowing the controlling element to be of reasonablly small capacity. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding 24 of a transformer 21 is connected to an AC power supply, and the output voltage of the secondary winding 23 being rectified by rectifiers 25-28 is fed to the primary winding 32 of a transformer 31 via controlling transistors 29 and 30. The secondary winding 22 of the transformer 21 and the secondary winding 33 of the transformer 31 being connected in series are connected to a load 9 via rectifiers 34-37 and a filter. Output voltage of the load 9 being fed to a pulse-width controlling circuit 41 controls switching time of the controlling transistors 29 and 30. Thereby making the control element perform only the compensating of the input voltage and load flactuations, its capacity is allowed to be reasonablly small compared with the load capacity.
