Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a circuit low-cost by a simple constitution without deteriorating input loss by using a waveguide and a microwave IC in the transmission path of input RF signals and the output side respectively.
CONSTITUTION: RF signals which are incident from waveguide 16 are mixed with local signals of a gun oscillator by mixer diode 23, and the IF output is taken out at terminal 29 from one end of strip center conductor 22 through high frequency coke 28. Then, the electric field of waveguide 16 is vertical to the H face and is coupled from a waveguide mode to a slot mode smoothly at slot part 18 of the waveguide short-circuit face, and RF signals are applied to mixer diode 23.
