Description
例えばBeauvoirの米国特許第6,059,482号明細書および第6,474,902号明細書には、隔壁のある、柱と梁の間の接続用のボルト締め接続具が記述されている。しかし、これらの従来技術の接続具は梁と柱の間のモーメント接続をもたらすように設計されているに過ぎず、特別に耐震用途に設計されているわけではない。特に、これらの接続具の設計では、筋かい部材の降伏を制御したり、筋かい部材の全強度を引き出したりすることはできない。
好ましい実施形態の詳しい説明を、一例としてのみ、以下の図面を参照して本明細書において以下に述べる。
本発明による接続具と使用するための一実施例として、外径が168mmであるHSS筋かい部材を選択した。HSS筋かい部材は、外形は168mmであるが、様々な壁厚を有する。これが一般的な管寸法であることから、このような筋かい部材は大抵の鋼管製造会社から容易に入手可能である。さらに、入手可能な168mm管のほとんどの公称環動半径は、一般的な筋かい部材の長さで200未満の細長比である(引張り‐圧縮用筋かいに対する必要条件)。最後に、168mm直径管の降伏能力は、壁厚および鋼種に応じて、約550kNから3,000kN(125kipから675kip)の範囲である。これによって、接続具の末端利用者は、同じ鋳造接続具を指定しながら、中層構造物の各階に適切なレベルの横方向強度をもたらすことが可能となる。

同心状筋かい付き骨組みでは、筋かい部材はそれ自体がエネルギーを吸収する要素である。したがって、能力設計の原理によれば、筋かい部材の引張り降伏中、筋かい部材の座屈中、あるいは全体的もしくは局部的な非弾性座屈に起因する、中央および筋かい部材両端部における筋かい部材の塑性ヒンジ動作中に、鋳造接続具が弾性のままであることが好ましい。プロトタイプ接続具の設計プロセス中に、有限要素応力解析を使用して接続具の弾性挙動を確立した。
Claims (27)
- 構造骨組み用の、降伏能力を有する筋かい部材を含む筋かいアセンブリ内で使用される構造用の接続具において、
前記接続具は荷重がかかる間前記筋かい部材の前記降伏能力の全て又は略全てに順応でき、
前記接続具は、
(a) 前記筋かい部材を受け、前記筋かい部材に溶接されるように構成された第1端部と、
(b)前記構造骨組みに接続されるように適合された第2端部であり、少なくとも一つの標準的に製作された端接続部によって前記構造骨組みに接続される、且つ圧縮座屈中に前記標準的に製作された前記端接続部内で発生する塑性ヒンジ屈曲を起こすように構成される前記第2端部と、
(c) 前記第1端部と第2端部との間に設けられた中間部分と、
を備え、
前記第1端部に含まれる傾斜面であり、前記第1端部と前記筋かい部材との間に、完全溶け込み(CJP:complete joint penetration)開先溶接の接続を形成するために十分な大きさの溶接部を作り出せるように選択された角度を成す前記傾斜面を含んでいることを特徴とする接続具。 - 前記第1端部、前記第2端部及び中間部分が、前記筋かい部材によって画定される軸内に設置される請求項1に記載の接続具。

前記第1端部は前記筋かい部材を受ける斜面手段を含み、
前記第1端部は前記筋かい部材に接続するためのものであり、
前記斜面手段が、前記第1端部と前記筋かい部材との間に、完全溶け込み(CJP:complete joint penetration)開先溶接の接続を形成するために十分な大きさの溶接部を作り出せるように選択された角度を成し、

(ii)標準的に製作された端接続部に接続される第2端部であり、圧縮座屈中に前記標準的に製作された前記端接続部内で発生する塑性ヒンジ屈曲を起こすように構成される前記第2端部と、
(iii)第1端部と第2端部の間に設けられた中間部分と、
を備え、
前記第1端部が前記筋かい部材を受ける斜面手段を含み、
さらに、前記第1端部と前記筋かい部材との間に完全溶け込み(CJP:complete joint penetration)開先溶接の接続を形成するために十分な大きさの溶接部を作り出せるように選択された角度を成す前記斜面手段を備え、
前記接続具は荷重がかかる間、前記筋かい部材の前記降伏能力の全て又は略全てに順応できる筋かいアセンブリを、前記標準的に制作された前記端接続部を含む構造骨組みに組み入れる方法において、
前記方法は、
(a) 前記標準的に製作された前記端接続部を前記構造接続具の第2端部にボルト締め又は溶接によって取り付けるステップ、及び、
(b) 前記接続具の第1端部を前記筋かい部材にボルト締め又は溶接によって取り付けるステップ
を含む方法。 - 前記第1端部、前記第2端部および中間部分が、前記筋かい部材によって画定される軸内に設置される請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記接続具が鋳造構造接続具である請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記接続具の中間部分が、前記標準的に製作された端接続部から離れて位置する塑性ヒンジ屈曲領域を含んでいる請求項23に記載の方法。
- 筋かいアセンブリにおける構造接続具の使用であって、荷重から構造骨組みを保護するため、前記筋かいアセンブリは降伏能力を有する筋かい部材を含み、前記接続具は荷重がかかる間前記筋かい部材の前記降伏能力の全て又は略全てに順応でき、前記接続具は、
(a) 前記筋かい部材を受けると共に前記筋かい部材に接続されるように構成される第1端部と、
(b) 前記構造骨組みに接続されるように適合された第2端部であり、少なくとも一つの標準的に製作された端接続部によって前記構造骨組みに接続される、且つ圧縮座屈中に前記標準的に製作された前記端接続部内で発生する塑性ヒンジ屈曲を起こすように構成される前記第2端部と、
(c) 前記第1端部及び前記第2端部の間に配置された中間部分であって、前記第1端部、前記第2端部及び前記中間部分は前記筋かい部材によって画定される軸内に配置される中間部分、
を備え、
前記第1端部に含まれる傾斜面であり、前記第1端部と前記筋かい部材との間に、完全溶け込み(CJP:complete joint penetration)開先溶接の接続を形成するために十分な大きさの溶接部を作り出せるように選択された角度を成す前記傾斜面を含んでいることを特徴とする接続具の使用。
