Description
充電装置に設けられた他のコンピュータと通信を行い、認証を行うコンピュータと、
認証が成立する場合に充電電流を2次電池に供給し、認証が成立しない場合に、充電状態が所定時間経過した後に充電電流を遮断するように、コンピュータによって制御される充電制御手段とを有し、
充電装置から取り外された時に充電電流を遮断した状態が解除されることを特徴とする電池パックである。
充電装置に設けられた他のコンピュータと通信を行い、認証を行う認証ステップと、
認証が成立する場合に充電電流を2次電池に供給し、認証が成立しない場合に、充電状態が所定時間経過した後に充電電流を遮断する充電制御ステップとからなり、
充電装置から電池パックが取り外された時に充電電流を遮断した状態が解除されることを特徴とする充電制御方法である。
および充電制御FET8aのドレイン・ソース間を直列に介してと−端子3と接続されている。電流制限素子5は、例えばPTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient :熱抵抗素子)であり、温度が上昇すると抵抗値が上昇して電流を制限するものである。FET7aおよび8aのドレイン・ソース間には、それぞれ寄生ダイオード7bおよび8bが存在している。
ュータ10とEEPROM14の間に、データ入力線、データ出力線、クロック供給線、チップセレクト供給線が配されている。マイクロコンピュータ10は、電流測定値、電圧測定値、温度測定値を使用して残容量情報を算出する。測定値、残容量を求めるために必要なデータ例えば電池電圧と残容量との関係を示すテーブル、求められた残容量情報等がEEPROM14に記憶される。不揮発性メモリとして、EEPROM以外にバックアップ電源を有するRAM(Random Access Memory)等を用いても良い。

Claims (4)
- 2次電池と2次電池の充放電を制御する回路とを有する電池パックにおいて、
充電装置に設けられた他のコンピュータと通信を行い、認証を行うコンピュータと、
上記認証が成立する場合に充電電流を2次電池に供給し、上記認証が成立しない場合に、充電状態が所定時間経過した後に充電電流を遮断するように、上記コンピュータによって制御される充電制御手段とを有し、
充電装置から取り外された時に上記充電電流を遮断した状態が解除されることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池パックにおいて、
上記充電装置に対して装着された時に、上記コンピュータによって上記認証がなされることを特徴とする電池パック。 - 電池パックが2次電池と2次電池の充放電を制御する回路とコンピュータとを有し、該コンピュータの制御の下で実行される充電制御方法において、
充電装置に設けられた他のコンピュータと通信を行い、認証を行う認証ステップと、
上記認証が成立する場合に充電電流を2次電池に供給し、上記認証が成立しない場合に、充電状態が所定時間経過した後に充電電流を遮断する充電制御ステップとからなり、
充電装置から電池パックが取り外された時に上記充電電流を遮断した状態が解除されることを特徴とする充電制御方法。 - 請求項3に記載の充電制御方法において、
上記充電装置に対して電池パックが装着された時に、上記認証ステップがなされることを特徴とする充電制御方法。
