Abstract
Description
(I)強化材;並びに
(II)次の(a)〜(c)を含むエポキシ樹脂組成物;
(a)1分子当たり平均で1を超えるグリシジル基を有する、少なくとも1種のエポキシ樹脂;
(b)少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミン硬化剤;及び
(c)少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノール;
を含む、複合材造形品を調製するための硬化性エポキシ樹脂複合材組成物であって、前記少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミンと前記少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノールの組合せが、目標粘度(target viscosity)に至るまでの時間又はゲル化時間を、スチレン化フェノールとアルカノールアミンとの組合せを含まない元の配合物に対して約5パーセント(%)以上(≧)の率で減少させるとともに、ガラス転移温度(Tg)をTg≧約70℃に維持するのに十分な量で、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物中に存在するものである、複合材成形物品を調製するための硬化性エポキシ樹脂複合材配合物、を対象にするものである。
実施例1、実施例2,比較例A、比較例B、及び比較例Cが、次の一般的手順に従って取り扱われた。
以下の表VIに示すゲル化時間は、Gardco Standardゲルタイマー(フロリダ州ポンパノビーチのポールN.ガードナー・カンパニー社(Paul N.Gardner Company,Inc.)から入手可能なGT−Sモデル)を用いて測定された。この装置は、特別な形状の攪拌機を配合物中で回転させる低トルクの同期電動機を有している。ゲル化が生じ始めるにしたがって、効力がトルクを上回り、モーターは停止する。モーターが停止した時間がゲル化時間として記録され、ゲルタイマーのLCDディスプレー上に表示される。
Claims (17)
- (I)強化材;並びに
(II)次の(a)〜(c)を含むエポキシ樹脂組成物;
(a)1分子当たり平均で1を超えるグリシジル基を有する、少なくとも1種のエポキシ樹脂;
(b)少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミン硬化剤;及び
(c)少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノール;
を含む、複合材造形品を調製するための硬化性エポキシ樹脂複合材組成物であって、前記少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミンと前記少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノールの組合せが、目標粘度に至るまでの時間又はゲル化時間を、スチレン化フェノールとアルカノールアミンとの組合せを含まない元の配合物に対して約5パーセント(%)以上(≧)の率で減少させるとともに、ガラス転移温度(Tg)をTg≧約70℃に維持するのに十分な量で、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物中に存在するものである、硬化性エポキシ樹脂複合材組成物。 - 前記少なくとも1種のエポキシ樹脂がビスフェノールAのジグリシジルエーテルを含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミンが、プロパノールアミン、エタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、トリエタノールアミン、N−メチルエタノールアミン、アミノエチルエタノールアミン、又はこれらの混合物を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノールが、ノニルフェノール、モノスチレン化フェノール又はこれらの混合物を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノールが、前記硬化性組成物中に約1重量パーセント〜約40重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種のエポキシ樹脂が、前記硬化性組成物中に約15重量パーセント〜約90重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミン硬化剤が、前記硬化性組成物中に約1重量パーセント〜約65重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記強化材(I)が、前記組成物中に約1重量パーセント〜約80重量パーセントの範囲で存在する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記強化材(I)が繊維強化材である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂組成物(II)が、少なくとも1種の熱可塑性樹脂又は少なくとも1種の無機充填材を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂組成物(II)が、(d)前記アルカノールアミン硬化剤とは異なる共硬化剤、を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂組成物(II)が、(e)前記エポキシ樹脂成分(a)とは異なる第2のエポキシ樹脂、を含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記第2のエポキシ樹脂成分(e)が1,4−ブタンジオールジグリシジルエーテルを含む、請求項12記載の組成物。
- 請求項1記載の組成物を硬化させて硬化生成物を生成させることを含む、硬化生成物の製造方法。
- 前記硬化が2以上の段階を含む、請求項14記載の方法。
- 請求項14記載の方法によって製造された硬化複合材生成物。
- (I)強化材;並びに
(II)次の(a)〜(c)を含むエポキシ樹脂組成物;
(a)1分子当たり平均で1を超えるグリシジル基を有する、少なくとも1種のエポキシ樹脂;
(b)少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミン硬化剤;及び
(c)少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノール;
を一緒に接触させることを含む、硬化性エポキシ樹脂組成物を製造する方法であって、前記少なくとも1種のアルカノールアミン硬化剤と前記少なくとも1種のスチレン化フェノールの組合せが、目標粘度に至るまでの時間又はゲル化時間を、スチレン化フェノールとアルカノールアミンとの組合せを含まない元の配合物に対して約5パーセント(%)以上(≧)の率で減少させるとともに、ガラス転移温度(Tg)をTg≧約70℃に維持するのに十分な量で、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物中に存在する、硬化性エポキシ樹脂組成物を製造する方法。
